The document details 4 tests conducted to evaluate weaknesses in testing excellence traits for an athlete: hand grip strength, notation analysis of decision making and ball retention, and a squat test of muscular endurance. Scores and a rating system from 1-10 are provided to assess each test.
Working with the Danish National team and top clubs like Juventus and Chelsea, we have found fitness
testing a very useful tool to evaluate the players. It has allowed us to adjust the planning and make
training specific for individuals in the squad. Testing is, however, not only for elite-players. All players
independent of age and level of football can benefit from being evaluated. The players will obtain
greater awareness of their capacity and understand where improvements can be obtained. They often
become highly motivated for more training and are aiming at performing better through harder training.
Tests in football should be performed on the field and this book describes a number of tests which are
simple to conduct and do require limited equipment and time investment. For example, in the Yo-Yo
intermittent recovery test 30 players can be tested within 10 minutes using just a CD-player. The
physical demands in football are complex ranging from the high power needed in single actions, such as
in a shot at goal, to endurance being able to perform also at the end of a game. The present book
presents information of how to test the various aspects of fitness performance that are important for
the football player and provides guidelines of what is to be expected at various categories of football
players. Generally, it is easy and useful to perform testing, so it is just to get started.

We will explore a strategic proposal to enhance parking and traffic management at Lincoln Financial Field, aiming to improve the overall fan experience and operational efficiency. This comprehensive plan addresses existing challenges and leverages innovative solutions to create a smoother and more enjoyable experience for our fans.
Slide 2:
Picture this: It’s a crisp fall afternoon, driving towards Lincoln Financial Field. The atmosphere is electric—tailgaters grilling, fans in Eagles jerseys creating a sea of green and white. The air buzzes with camaraderie and anticipation. You park, join the throng, and make your way to your seat. The stadium roars as the Eagles take the field, sending chills down your spine. Each play is a thrilling dance of strategy and skill. This is what being an Eagles fan is all about—the joy, the pride, and the shared experience.
Slide 3:
But now, the day is marred by frustration. The excitement wanes as you struggle to find a parking spot. The congestion is overwhelming, and tempers flare. The delays mean you miss the pre-game excitement, the tailgate camaraderie, and even the opening kick-off. After the game, the joy of victory or the shared solace of defeat is overshadowed by the stress of navigating out of the parking lot. The gridlock, honking horns, and endless waiting drain the energy and joy from what should have been an unforgettable experience.
Our proposal aims to eliminate these frustrations, ensuring that from arrival to departure, your experience is extraordinary. Efficient parking and smooth traffic flow are key to maintaining the high spirits and excitement that make game days special.
Slide 4:
The Philadelphia Eagles are not just a premier NFL team; they are an integral part of the community, hosting games, concerts, and various events at Lincoln Financial Field. Our state-of-the-art stadium is designed to provide a world-class experience for every attendee. Slide 5:
Recent trends show an increasing demand for efficient event logistics. Our customer feedback has consistently highlighted frustrations with parking and traffic. Surveys indicate that a significant number of fans are dissatisfied with the current parking situation. Comparisons with other venues like Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center reveal that we lag in terms of parking efficiency and convenience. These insights underscore the urgent need for innovation to meet and exceed fan expectations.

Notation Analysis involves watching the athlete play and having a number of categories, these will include
headings such as ‘correct time to take shot’ ‘Correct time pass made’ ‘Correct time back tracking run
made’ ‘Correct time cross put in’ ‘Correct time forward run made’ ‘Correct time tackle put in’ ‘Correct
time dribble forward made’. Carrying out my Normative analysis with an Portsmouth Coach, so I can be
sure that the judgement will be correct as he is qualified and I am not, I will also judge on videos and not
live, as live you can miss important events and with live footage you can spend more time looking at them

33 squats, was the best score that Conor achieved in this test.
Specific Target I want Conor to achieve more than 34, which is excellent for his age range.
Measurable Its measurable as I will be measuring his progress throughout, whilst he’s at
the gym and when we re-test I will make sure conditions are strict and
measurements are taken precisely.
Agreed Upon This has been agreed upon with my client, in a meeting.
Realistic This isnt asking too much of Conor simply because he achieved quite well in it
originally and is only moving to the excellent category.
Time Based Baseline test (WB 12/01): He scored 33 squats
Review (WB 09/02):
Complete (WB 09/03):
7. Student Justification 1
• I decided upon Muscular Endurance being a improvement target for Conor purely because it’s a
fundamental part of football when playing it at a high level. An average game of football is ninety
minutes long, meaning Conor is going to need to keep up with play for ninety minutes, assuming he
isn’t substituted off before hand. All games have different paces, depending upon the opposition
and weather conditions, so its key that a high level of muscular endurance will allow him to adapt
how he plays football when the weather conditions and opposition change, as they are ever
changing. For example playing in wet conditions will require a higher level of muscular endurance
in the leg muscles, as they turf is likely to be damp and soft, asking more of the muscles. Conor
plays in an attacking position also, this requires him to be making fast runs in behind defenders, to
allow himself the opportunity to score goals and to aid his team. So if his muscular endurance is of
a high level, he’ll be able to ensure that he is in the right position on the pitch to receive the ball
and aid the team, having enough energy left in his muscles to be able to ensure that he is making
frequent runs behind defenders. As if he is scoring goals, then the team is being aided, winning
them games, which increases the points total and then moves Portsmouth up the table. As Conor
has achieved below average in this specific element, the squat test being the test that produced the
results. It’s a necessity that it is improved upon and quickly, to aid his performance and his
contribution towards the team. If his muscular endurance is at a high level he’ll also, like I stated
above find himself in scoring positions more often than not, so he’ll have the chance to increase his
goals tally, the more his goals tally in increased the more aware bigger clubs will become of him,
this will then increase his transfer fee. Meaning he could then, in time end up playing for a bigger
club. As you can see there are only benefits to his personal game and contribution to the team, to
increasing his muscular endurance.

49kg, was the best score that Conor achieved in this specific test.
Specific Target I want Conor to achieve 53, in the hand grip dynamiter test after by the end of
the eight week time period.
Measurable Its measureable simply because its over a specific period of eight weeks, I will
also make sure the retesting is done under strict conditions with controlled
variables and testing.
Agreed Upon The aim was agreed upon with Conor in the one to one meeting we had after
the testing.
Realistic If Conor is to follow my eight week training programme then the goal I have set
is realistic and he will be able to achieve it, it also doesn’t ask too much of
Conor as he also scored quite well on the original test.
Time Based Baseline test (WB 12/01):49kg
Review (WB 09/02):
Complete (WB 09/03):
9. Student Justification 2
• I have chosen strength as an area to improve, simply because Conor has room for improvement in this area.
Strength is also needed as a centre forward as frequently Conor is going to be coming up against very strong
opposition such in the shape of centre backs. So its key that Conor can hold the ball up and is able to lay it off
to other players, if he isn’t strong then he isn’t going to be able to do this and will find himself being pushed
off the ball. So I tested him via the hand grip dynamiter simply because the area of strength I’m targeting for
Conor is upper body as this will help him to become stronger when up against centre backs. The eight week
training programme specifically focus’s on improving upper body strength, working arms, chest, back and the
core, as core is also key when it comes to strength. I used the hand grip dynamiter simply as when he’s
working all the other body parts, his forearms will get gradually bigger, this is why it’s a good element of the
body to test. If his strength is increased, then he is going to find it easier to increase his goals tally. As he is only
an 18 year old, breaking into the first team, he isn’t going to be as developed as some of the defenders he is
likely to come up against, some in their thirties. So if we focus on improving his strength, then its likely to help
his over all performance as a centre forward, which will then lead to aiding the team. If his strength is
improved then his hold up play will gradually get better, as he’ll be able to hold of defenders, meaning when
the ball is at his feet and his back is to goal, he will be able to involve other team mates and start attacks, the
more attacks his team have the more likely they are to score. The more goals they score, the more likely they
are to win, meaning they will climb up the table. When Conor strength is increased he’ll find himself more of a
threat from set pieces also, as he’ll be able to hold off his marker and then score. As arms are often used in the
penalty area before set pieces, if the size of his arms were to increase, he’ll find it easier to shrug off his man
to find himself in scoring positions. This will increase the likely hood that he will find himself in goal scoring
opportunities, meaning that he can score more goals, again increasing his goals tally, meaning more clubs will
become aware of him. Also the more goals he is scoring the more confident he is going to feel when he plays,
so he’ll stand out. This will also aid his team, as they’ll be winning more games, getting more points and
climbing the table, to ensure promotion is a possibility.
