Describe whether the tests show that
progress is being made as planned?
• The bespoke test for finishing shows that my client is making progress; in
the original testing period her best score was 3/10 and during the mid-
point testing period her best score was 5/10 which shows she is making
steady progress. During the training sessions she is now putting the
majority of her shots on target and is scoring a good amount of goals using
different parts of her body from different areas in the box.
• The 35m sprint test shows that my client is making good progress so far; in
the original testing period her best score was 5.71 seconds which was
average. During the mid-point testing period her best score was 5.56
which is good for her gender; showing that she is making good progress.
During the training programme she is now working at her maximum sprint
on the treadmill and is pushing herself in the circuit training.
Does the mid point review show that weeks 5-8
need to be adapted?
Describe How you will adapt your sessions?
• The midpoint review shows that my plan for weeks 5-8 for her second
weakness, finishing, does not need to be adapted because she is making
steady progress which has been shown throughout training sessions and
during the testing period.
• The mid-point review clearly shows that she is making progress with her
speed as she is sticking with the programme. Therefore I do not need to
adapt my programme for the final 5-8 weeks as I believe she will continue
making steady progress with the programme I have planned for her.
