The documentary follows the lives of individuals as they
prepare to have a baby and during the birth of the child also .
The individuals being filmed are also aware of the fact that
there are cameras filming them.

Medium close ups/close ups are used in the
documentary when emotional situations are
happening. For example, when the woman is
giving birth and a close up of the husband’s
face is shown because he is crying.
High angle shots are used when the baby is
put on to the mother’s chest and also when
the midwives are travelling from room to
room.
Medium close ups are used in the interview
to portray the couple’s personality to the
audience. Medium close ups are also used
when interviewing the staff.
