Oman Air is the national carrier of Oman, starting operations in 1993 with its first international flight to Dubai. It has since expanded to 48 destinations and opened a new airport in Muscat compatible with the A380, containing 350k square meters of terminal space, 32 boarding bridges, and a 5,500 bag per hour baggage processing capacity. The airline operates over 140 flights per week within the GCC, Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, with a fleet of over 40 aircraft and 24 more on order, including its most advanced aircraft yet with improved noise reduction, windows, seating, and in-flight amenities.
