2. THE PASSIVE VOICE.
Use the passive:
 Passive voice can only use with form of
verbs transitive.
 The important is “what happens” not “who do
the action.”
 Structure: Suject + auxiliar verb “to be” +
past participle.

3. Active







Passive
Present simple: buy/s-------> am/is/are bought
Past simple: ate---------------> was/were eaten
Present perfect: have/has drawn--> have/has been drawn.
Past perfect: had read------> had been read.
Will: will play-----------------> will be played.
Going to: am/is/are going to run-----> am/is/are goin to be
run.
Modals: can change--------> can be changed.

4. CHOOSE 5 SENTENCES IN THE ACTIVE VOICE
AND TURN THEM INTO PASSIVE VOICE.










A: They collect the magazine every Monday.
P: The magazine is collected every Monday.
A: Someone ate the cupcacke.
P: The cupcacke was eaten.
A: My mum has bought a car.
P: A car has been bought by my mum.
A: Someone had invited me.
P: I had been invited.
A: My sister will drive a car.
P: A car will be driven by my sister.
