I would like to acknowledge my entire family for their help and for never giving up
on me. I have to thank my parents for tirelessly encouraging a son who didn t seem
that interested in getting a degree for a very long time. They also shouldered an
enormous portion of the financial burden involved in attending a university. I
would also like to thank my younger brother. Ironically, he has been a role model

Reflection On Morning Service Sermon
On October 1, 2017 I chose to attend the morning service sermon given to me by
Brian Coffey. I had the opportunity to observe this pastor at Wayside Community
Chapel Church in Rosamond. Currently, he has been the pastor for a few years
now. This sermon was about an hour and a half long that focused on how Christians
should act with certain emotions and how to deal with them. While looking around
I noticed that the audience ranged from children that are in middle school to elderly
adults. That is, during this sermon children under middle school aged get to go to a
place called Children s Church where it is more for children that understand it at
their level in which they could interpret it. Similarly, the size of the people was very
impacted, roughly about one hundred to one hundred and fifty people were there to
listen to his sermon. While I listened to his sermon I noticed that he has a very
organized sermon. First, he talked about emotions in general then got more specific
into just talking about the emotion, anger. He gave an example of how people drive
on the freeway, perhaps when drive weave in and out of traffic in Los Angeles.
Right away this caught my attention. I know for me, I don t like when people do this
to me. Next, he connected this to how Christians interact with the world by using

women are fighting for their rights from within Islamic tradition, rather than against it

Mariner, I found literary critics, college professors, and multiple sources discussing

poem is viewed as a dream voyage to another realm (par. 2). According to critic
Michael Burke, the poem reveals a romantic myth of a circular transcending journey,

I had my eyes on his stance which stated that the habit of procrastination is caused
by the personality of the individuals. He also mention that fear of failing the task is
the reason why we tend to procrastinate the task. I would say that I have the same
opinion with the author on this. We usually tend to work on something that we

Introduction:
The C S H gel is the most abundant reaction product in cement, occupying about half
of the paste volume, it is also responsible for most of the properties of cement paste.
This is just not because it is a strong or stable phase but because it forms a continuous
layer that binds the cement particles together.
All the other hydration products of cement form discrete crystals that are naturally
strong but do not have good connections to the solid phases they are in contact with
hence cannot contribute much to the overall strength of the cement paste. C S H gel
gets the ability of the to act as a binding phase from its nanometer level structure.
As C S H gel grows outward from the cement particles, it does not form a single
large block or monolithic solid phase but instead develops a complex internal
system of tiny pores, called gel pores. Gel pores are hundreds or thousands of times
smaller than the original capillary pores which are relatively large. The liquid water
present in the gel pores is not part of the solid C S H phase chemically but it is
physically isolated, thus it cannot undergo any further chemical reaction with the
cement.
When hydrated cement paste is observed under microscope at moderate level of
magnification, we could see two apparently different types of C S H gel. One of
these gel is less dense and more porous that appears to occupy
