Office 2016 ProPlus provides modern productivity features for teamwork, mobile access, and continuous updates. It offers the most secure version of Office with improved data loss prevention, flexible update channels, and simplified activation management. Managing Office 2016 ProPlus deployments requires using tools like the Office Deployment Tool, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripts to configure channels, deploy updates, and audit the environment. Major changes coming in September 2017 will reduce updates to twice yearly and extend support for each release to 18 months.
