WORK EXPERIENCE
2013 Nov to date: PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR - Ministry of
Agriculture, Department of Corporate Services- Kgatleng District. Coordination of
Performance Improvement for all Kgatleng district agricultural departments being
Corporate Services, Agribusiness Promotions, Animal Production, Crop Production and
Veterinary Services.
Duties performed:
• Facilitation and coordination of the PMS and other Public service Reforms in
Kgatleng (Ministry of Agriculture)
• Ensures alignment of District Strategic Plans with Ministry plan and department
strategic plan to that of the district
• Ensuring quality control on all reforms project deliveries
• Providing guidance and support in reforms matters
• Liaising and collaborating with Performance Improvement Coordinator (Ministry
level) on technical and professional matters of performance and reforms
• Serves as a contact person for Performance Improvement and Reforms in
Kgatleng district
• Develops networking in the district between departments, farmers and companies
to improve performance of farmers projects in Kgatleng and our performance in
Agriculture
• Facilitates and coordinates teambuilding activities in the district, awarding of
good performance for employee motivation to perform and be productive in the
public service

QUALITIES
Initiative: Initiated and implemented the first Ministry of Agriculture- District
Performance Awards, held 28 November 2014. Formed team building committee and
Performance monitoring committee, made of members that cut across different
departments in the district.
Good Presentation skills gained as a Performance Improvement coordinator in Kgatleng
district -Ministry of Agriculture. Presenting at workshops on issues like performance,
strategy, Smart Work Ethics, public service charter.
Good Performance: (both theoretical knowledge and practical ability). At the University
of Botswana I graduated with a G.P.A of 3.9. I achieve my set objectives as per
Performance development plan in the workplace with high grades. High performance
results are achieved as per set government objectives every financial year.
Good Leadership Skills: These skills were developed through being a managing director
and marketing manager in the Junior Achievement Botswana companies that I was
involved in. These leadership skills helped both my companies scoop first position at
regional competitions and a price as best managing director.
I have had an opportunity to practice leadership skills as an administration officer by
supervising industrial class employees in the administration section, through to being a
principal administration officer. As a performance Improvement coordinator for Kgatleng
district, I am expected to lead performance in 5 departments by portraying example of
good work ethics.
Good Project planning skills: As a PIC in Kgatleng, I plan team building activities for
organizational performance like the District Awards event and the District Public Service
Celebration for all government ministries (departments) with the district commissioner’s
performance team. As a SAHA member for 4 years, I planned annual activities like
World Aids Day, September Month of Prayer, Month of Youth Against HIV/AIDS,
Valentines day for the disabled and disadvantaged children, which all turned out to be
successful. I plan and organize work in Government Printing administration. I plan and
coordinate the teambuilding activity for the district, entailing 5 different departments for
Ministry of Agriculture.
Good Team Player: I have developed teams in Kgatleng district as a way to achieve and
realize the district strategic goals, hence work great with PIC team, wellness team,
District Team building committee, District Performance team. As a H.P.A we had to
work as a team to achieve the goals and objectives of promoting Health in general in the
University. As a Recruitment Retention officer I worked hand in hand with other R.R.O’s
to be able to retain participants to stay in the study. This quality helped the study to
continue as planned.
Part of the ministry team that monitors the payment process tool to see that departments
follow the quality service standards of having paid suppliers within the stipulated time
frame. Work as a team with the whole administration team and district members- Team
Kgatleng.
Good Communication Skills: I am fluent in speaking both Setswana and English. With
this skill, I am confident and assertive, hence able to relate well with different people of
various personalities .As a Health Promotion Assistant, a Research Assistant and a
Recruitment Retention Officer, I met many people of different characters and
personalities on a daily basis. These work environments helped develop and nature my
skills of communication, hence helped my organization in recruiting and retaining
participants for the TDF2 study as well as the Harvard research, and established good
relationship between myself, University students and staff for Health and Wellness
centre. These skills have helped create a good relationship between external and internal
suppliers at Government printing and publishing services.

  • 4. WORK EXPERIENCE 2013 Nov to date: PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR - Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Corporate Services- Kgatleng District. Coordination of Performance Improvement for all Kgatleng district agricultural departments being Corporate Services, Agribusiness Promotions, Animal Production, Crop Production and Veterinary Services. Good Leadership Skills: These skills were developed through being a managing director and marketing manager in the Junior Achievement Botswana companies that I was involved in. These leadership skills helped both my companies scoop first position at regional competitions and a price as best managing director. I have had an opportunity to practice leadership skills as an administration officer by supervising industrial class employees in the administration section, through to being a principal administration officer. As a performance Improvement coordinator for Kgatleng district, I am expected to lead performance in 5 departments by portraying example of good work ethics. Good Project planning skills: As a PIC in Kgatleng, I plan team building activities for organizational performance like the District Awards event and the District Public Service Celebration for all government ministries (departments) with the district commissioner’s performance team. As a SAHA member for 4 years, I planned annual activities like World Aids Day, September Month of Prayer, Month of Youth Against HIV/AIDS, Valentines day for the disabled and disadvantaged children, which all turned out to be successful. I plan and organize work in Government Printing administration. I plan and coordinate the teambuilding activity for the district, entailing 5 different departments for Ministry of Agriculture.

As a H.P.A we had to work as a team to achieve the goals and objectives of promoting Health in general in the University. As a Recruitment Retention officer I worked hand in hand with other R.R.O’s to be able to retain participants to stay in the study. This quality helped the study to continue as planned. Part of the ministry team that monitors the payment process tool to see that departments follow the quality service standards of having paid suppliers within the stipulated time frame. Work as a team with the whole administration team and district members- Team Kgatleng. Good Communication Skills: I am fluent in speaking both Setswana and English. With this skill, I am confident and assertive, hence able to relate well with different people of various personalities .As a Health Promotion Assistant, a Research Assistant and a Recruitment Retention Officer, I met many people of different characters and personalities on a daily basis. These work environments helped develop and nature my skills of communication, hence helped my organization in recruiting and retaining participants for the TDF2 study as well as the Harvard research, and established good relationship between myself, University students and staff for Health and Wellness centre.
