This document outlines the agenda for an English class, including a discussion of the idiom "jump to conclusions" and forming novel discussion groups. Students will take turns summarizing what they read in their assigned sections and answering discussion questions as preparation for an upcoming quiz. Homework includes a novel quiz and a reading test on Monday.

• 1) Take turns orally summarizing what
happened in the section you read.
• 2) Let Nikki know when you have
finished summarizing and are ready
for the questions.
• 3) Take notes about/answer the
questions – the quiz will have the
same questions (but fewer), and you
can use your notes. I will collect your
notes after the quiz to check for
copying.
