This document summarizes a patient opinion workshop held on May 30th, 2012 at the Mansfield Civic Centre. The workshop welcomed participants and discussed the benefits of patient feedback for both patients and healthcare staff. It highlighted what patients and staff want from the healthcare system and shared stories from patients. The workshop also introduced a challenge for teams to capture, discuss, and act on patient feedback to improve care. It recognized award winning anti-stigma campaigns and closed by stating that patient experience measures are the best indicators of quality.
