Bibliography
   Bibliography (from Greek βιβλιογ
ραφία, bibliographia, literally "book
writing"), as a discipline, is
traditionally the academic study
of Books as physical, cultural objects;
in this sense, it is also known
as bibliology (from Greek -λογία, -
logia).
Carter and Barker (2010) describe
bibliography as a twofold scholarly discipline -
- the organized listing of books (enumerative
bibliography) and the systematic, description
of books as physical objects (descriptive
bibliography). These two distinct concepts and
practices have separate rationales and serve
differing purposes.
Examples of most common
        bibliographic entries
1. A book with a single author:
a) Author: surname, comma, given name, period.
b) Title: underlined or italicized, followed by
   period
c) Place of publication(city only, if well known)
   followed by colon
d) Name of the publisher exactly as listed on the
   title page, followed by comma
e) Date of publication, followed by period
f) Specific pages consulted, period at the end of the
Example:
 Ribo, Lourdes. Language in
   Literature. Quezon
   City: Vibal Publishing House,
   2004
2. A book with multiple authors:
The names of the authors are separated by
commas. Use as period after the last name.

example:
Ribo, Lourdes, Reyes, Linda Language in
     Literature III. Quezon City: Vibal
     Publishing House, 2004
3. A magazine article:
include the volume number, date, and pages of
the article. Use commas to separate this
  elements.
Example:
Donovan, Micheal. “A Dog’s Life.” The Japan
      Journal, vol.1, no. 10, February, 2007, p.3
4. A newspaper article:
include the name of the newspaper underlined
or italicized and the date, section, and page
number. Use commas to separate this
  elements.
Example:
  Porcalla, Delon. “House Bill Protecting
Delinquents,” The Philippine Star, May 8,
      2005, p. 2.
5. General reference work:
Give the title of the article enclosed in
quotation marks and italicize or underline the
name of the reference work. Use periods after
each of these elements. Put the year of the
publication in the parentheses followed by
comma, the volume number, and then the
page number of the entire article.
Example:
“ Aurora Borealis.” Encyclopedia Britanica
  (1986), vol.1, p. 657.

If an author has no more than one work, list
those entries together and arrange them
alphabetically by title. Use a long line in place
of the author’s name, followed by period, in
entries following the first entry for the author.
Example:

 Ribo, Lourdes. Across Borders Though
    Reading. Quezon City: Vibal Publishing
    House,2003. ______. We Celebrate God’s
    Love. Quezon City: Vibal Publishing
    House,2003
