people. The company has been ranked position two hundred and
seventy-four globally of the largest companies in the world
based on the revenues in 2013 by Fortune Global 500. The
company has currently concentrated in the large scale
production of the telecommunication infrastructures.
Additionally, the company has been on the forefront in the
matters related to the development of the technology and the
means of licensing them. Further, the company is also a major
provider of the mobile telephony. In fact, the company had
dominated this field in the past decade making it the largest
supplier of the mobile phones in the world and the one that
dominated the market for the longest time in history. The
company has also partnered with the Microsoft Corporation for
the production of the Windows Phone (Brown, 2010).
One of the diversity issues that has been affecting the company

are from the US. As a result, the interaction between the two
cultures has not been easy, and it has taken some time for them
to get along well. These employees have for previous years
been subjected to different working conditions as well as

contributed to the changes in the management and leadership as
well as learning and adapting to a new organizational culture.
The changes and learning to work together is a problem because
various issues have to be addressed before it is late.
The issue of communication from within the organization is a
vital issue that might have impacts on the performance and the
productivity of the organization. Communication is the one that
strengthens the relationship between the employees of the
individual companies that have merged. Additionally,
communication will assist the organization in enlightening the
employees concerning the chain of command that is supposed to
be used. Communication will help the management in the
delegation of roles to various individuals in the organization
that now consists of combination of people from both
companies. Communication might also affect the performance
of the organization in a negative manner because the
management will not be capable of receiving feedback from the
employees based on the fact that the communication channel or

Some of the ramifications that are likely to be experienced
when the issue is not fully addressed are the reduction in
productivity as a result of the lack of motivation from within
the organization. The lack of communication might also
contribute to the reduction in the overall performance of the
individual employees. The reduction in the performance apart
from communication might result from the lack of motivation
by the employees. The lack of feedback might also be another
factor resulting from the lack of communication. Feedback
assists the management in coming up with strategies for
increasing productivity and fostering teamwork from within the
organization. Finally, the organization might experience a lot of
resistance from group of employees as a result of lack of
communication.
