IoTools is a system that allows the tracking of toolboxes inside the vans of a company. By using RFID tags on toolboxes connected to Raspberries in vans, we created an integrated enviroment that collects data in order to provide the right information to the right user. The employee will receive an alert on a monitor in the van if any tool is missing; the business owner will be able to track the daily usage of any special tool.
