The team has created a bookkeeping software product from scratch that aims to simplify transactions for small and large businesses. They designed a beta version tailored for Bennett's Auto Repair to test customer interest. Based on feedback, they improved the security, password protection, layout, and ease of use. Bennett's Auto Repair's owner is pleased with the product as it saves him significant time over his previous manual bookkeeping methods. The team welcomes further feedback on the beta to continue enhancing the product before its launch.

Working throughout the semester, we have
accomplished a great deal as a team. We have
created a product from the ground up, that we
believe will be revolutionary to the business
world and allow all owners from small to large,
the ability and ease of documenting
transactions.

We have designed a sample product that was
specifically designed for Bennett’s Auto Repair
in Cumberland. The program is completely
customizable for every business involved and
decided to create a beta that was specific for
one business to truly gauge his potential
interest.

Since the Lo-Fi Prototype, we have made several
adjustments. Several of these adjustments have
been from feedback from our potential customers,
so feedback is always appreciated!


 We now have features to password protect the worksheets
and prevent unwanted eyes from gaining your important
information!

Overall layout, design
 Our layout has been modified to be easier on the eyes, and
allow for ease of understanding. We believe our program
truly makes business easy and allows for ease of use for any
level of computer operator!

We also made sure to
design the product so
that it would print on
one sheet and allow
for ease of filing if an
owner wished to have
hard copies.

Currently Mr. Bennett (Bennett’s Auto) is very
pleased with the product as it saves him ample
time when compared to his previous way of
bookkeeping. He used to file everything
manually in a binder and have to write
everything down while using a calculator.
Now, just entering his transactions totals two
sheets and saves time and frustration!
