Managing Payroll:
 Driving wide spectrum of Payroll activities and ensuring performance as per the Job Description within
the predefined SLAs.
• Managing Global Payroll for18 regions (India, JAPAC, EMEA) for employees of InMobi.
• Liasing with Payroll vendor on Compliance related matters (overseas statutory requirement) and
maintaining the Compliance register and keeping record of appropriate Proof/acknowledgements
on monthly basis and conducting compliance and regulatory audit with the vendors.
• Liaising with Regional Finance heads on payroll cost/MIS
• Setting up Timelines with HR for payroll inputs, Quality check &controls on all inputs
(Earnings/Deductions/Taxation/Final settlements.
• Ensuring processors are adhering to the company policies & procedures to control the risk
• Monitor Entries in SAP accounting system
• Approving the payroll for all the regions and ensuring payroll payment to employees on time
• Analyzing the payroll cost, Reporting variance report/MIS for all regions.
• Monitoring Payroll Vendor payments and Recruitment fees.
• Ensure that Quarterly and Annual returns are prepared & filed within due dates
• Coordinating, planning & managing activities to ensure completion of internal / external Auditing
(Tax & statutory audits) within the timelines for all the regions.
• Ensuring all payroll queries are resolved accurately and within agreed timescales
• Clear communication and coordination with other related departments
• Reconciliation with respect to all salary related Ledger Accounts for all the regions.
• Actively engaged in preparing process documents/checklist to train the junior members.
• Liasing with PF consultant and Pf department for PF related matters and maintaining the tracker
• Fund Management for monthly payroll and monitoring the cash flow.
• Managing year-end tax proof submission and helping employees on Tax planning and submission of
returns
Significant Achievement:
 Fostering training junior team members and new joiners to the team to efficiently handle payroll related
functions.
 Consistently met timelines for the financials activities set by the Finance team
 Have put efforts on consolidating the various regions payroll vendors with ADP
 Taken initiative to learn and understand overseas Employer related benefits and compliance related
matters and handling the same without any issues or escalations.
 Put in place checks and & control over the payroll function to ensure that there are no errors.
 Process improvement –
(a) Worked towards Automating bonus calculation from HRMS system
(b) Worked towards automating Exit clearance process for exit employees
(c) Worked with India payroll vendor technical team and introduced online submission of investment
proofs into vendor’s payroll system. This ensured zero paper waste, No wastage of time, No losing
employee’s documents, online rejection and approval of documents, online resolving the queries raised
by employees.
 Awarded as Jedi Master for helping HR in preparing employee hand book for various regions
 Awarded consistent performer, best performer and Best Team Player award both in ANZ and InMobi
 Recognized as Highly Valued Performer in InMobi.
 Got nominated for InMobi Oscar award 2015
 Actively engaged in testing global payroll during implementation of PeopleSoft (ERP) (ANZ)
