This document provides an overview of the Personal Discovery track at the NEXT 2010 conference. It will focus on helping attendees discover their talents, passions, and direction in life. The track is aimed at those who want to better understand themselves and find their purpose. Attendees will work with a facilitator and small group to define their goals and talents before, during, and after the conference for continued personal development. Participants will gain clarity about who they are and what they want through self-reflective exercises. While the results may include more questions, the overall goal is for attendees to value investing time in their personal growth and understanding themselves better.

8. The very initial idea of this track comes from Leadership from within as introduced by Peter Urs Bender. He says that before leading somebody else you have to be able to lead yourself. Leadership fromwithin He defines five steps to find leader in you: During NEXT, youwill discover especially first two – know yourself and have vision and passion– with pieces of share your vision and take a risk.

10. Get ready for self discovery Before NEXT starts, you will be approached by your facilitator and you will be given a task to start your personal discovery journey even before NEXT itself. Do not worry, task will not také you much time and it will be fun! Your self discovery Here you will define your talents, passion, things to build upon, direction you want to take in life, steps that will take you there, resources you will need… There will be your faci and other delegates to help you on your journey.
