Goal Setting for the Already Awesome
AKA: How do I move towards my goals and still love what I do?
Everyone has strengths they bring to what they do. Sometimes though, we get in our own way because we become frustrated, disillusioned, or just plain tired. This presentation was originally designed for competitive young athletes and is applicable to everyone. It is about being able to reach for your biggest goals and do it with enjoyment, even when it gets hard.
Here’s a good starter for understanding the principles of acquiring a Zen life you can apply to your everyday routine. With practice and punctuality, you’ll soon find that adapting Zen habits can fill your life with peace and prosperity and is much easier to maintain than you may have thought previously.
Today’s busy life constantly comes with packages of stress, anxiety,
and apprehension; all of which are not invited to a healthy happy
life. To cope, people search for therapies and guidance on how to
limit or eradicate these things from daily schedules. However, the
answer may be much simpler than that. If anything, it is to calm
down and take everything slowly; the definition of Zen.

Goal setting is the process of defining specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound objectives that an individual or organization aims to achieve. It involves identifying the desired outcomes and developing a plan for achieving them. Goals provide a framework for action and direction.Goal-setting is the process of taking active steps to achieve your desired outcome. Maybe your dream is to become a teacher, musician or physical therapist. Each one of these dreams involves setting and reaching small (and big!) goals. Each of these major goals can be broken down into smaller, more attainable goals that will propel you towards success. People perform better when they are committed to achieving certain goals. Through an understanding of the effect of goal setting on individual performance, organizations are able to use goal setting to benefit organizational performance In addition, another aspect that goes with goal commitment is also goal acceptance. This is an individual's willingness to pursue their specific goal. Locke and Latham (2002) have indicated three moderators that indicate goal setting success:
1. The importance of the expected outcomes of goal attainment,
2. Self-efficacy: one's belief that they are able to achieve their goals,
3. Commitment to others: promises or engagements to others can strongly improve commitment.
Expanding the three from above, the level of commitment is influenced by external factors. Such as the person assigning the goal, setting the standard for the person to achieve/perform. This influences the level of commitment by how compliant the individual is with the one assigning the goal . An external factor can also be the role models of the individual. For example, say an individual looks up to their manager and cares about their opinion, the individual is more likely to listen to goal-setting strategies from that individual, and ultimately become more committed to their desired goal.
Internal factors can derive from their participation level in the work to achieve the goal. What they expect from themselves can either flourish their success, or destroy it. Also, the individual may want to appear superior to their peers or competitors.[] They want to achieve the goal the best and be known for it. The self-reward of accomplishing a goal is usually one of the main keys that keeps individuals committed.[ For example, if an individual was working toward becoming the president of their company, if they achieve their goal, they could reward themselves with something of importance to them.
Another route individuals can take to set their goals is to follow (STD) that is, setting their goals to be Specific, Time-bound, and difficult. Specifically, an individual's goal should be set at the 90th percentile of difficulty.
There is no greater joy than gradually dicovering who you are. This document hopes to help people break out of their shells and start the journey of self discovery.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

At its core, generative artificial intelligence relies on the concept of generative models, which serve as engines that churn out entirely new data resembling their training data. It is like a sculptor who has studied so many forms found in nature and then uses this knowledge to create sculptures from his imagination that have never been seen before anywhere else. 4. Why are you here?
What are your outcomes?
Take a moment to write down
what you need to do to make
this the best goals workshop
you can make it be.
5. FARAH’S OUTCOMES:
My outcome for this workshop is to share some of the training and
experience I have had around the area of goal creation and to clarify
why goal setting alone, doesn’t work and what is needed instead.
Of course, I also hope you enjoy the course, learn some new things,
participate by sharing, asking questions and take part in the exercises
and feel energised and excited about the future as a result.
I’m grateful and honoured you chose to spend time on yourself

6. WHAT IS A GOAL?
•n: end of race; object of effort;
•Aim, ambition, design, destination, end,
intention, limit, mark, object, purpose, target
•An outcome, you are doing something to
achieve it
•Something you want to create in your
universe
7. SO, TELL ME WHAT YOU
WANT
WHAT YOU REALLY
REALLY WANT
8. The goal might be:
To meet the love of your life?
A new car?
Live in a nicer area in a bigger house?
Travel, volunteer, live overseas?
Present on stage?
Have a successful business?
Make 6 figures a year?
Ask yourself, what does the car, house, money,
travel etc do for you?
What does it give you?
What is the ultimate motivation behind it?
Is it reallyTheThing? Or is it the Feeling behind it?
9. Everything we do in life,
we do at its deepest level to be
Happy.
To Feel Good.
10. 2 WAYSYOU CAN INCREASEYOUR
PERSONAL LEVEL OF HAPPINESS:
•Be actively engaged in achieving your goals
•Eliminate the times when you are unhappy
11. Does it mean then, that if you don’t achieve your goals you will not be
happy? Consider this:
What you receive by accomplishing your goals is not nearly as important as
what you become by accomplishing your goals.
You could argue that what you become by not accomplishing your goals is
many times more profound than what you become when you do
accomplish them.
Achieving your goals:
12. Eliminate the times you are unhappy:
1. Letting go of what is no longer true
Release the attachment to the old idea or habit and notice how you feel.
What you resist persists.
Can you think of something in your life where you are holding onto
something that is no longer true? Let it go!
2. Overcoming addictions
Chemical addictions, speak for themselves.
Emotional/psychological addictions can be even more harmful…
Have you ever experienced an addiction to something?
That’s your ego talking. Let go of your ego.
13. Now is a result of decisions
you made in the past.
The result of your best
thinking yesterday got you
where you are today.
The Power lies in NOW. You
can affect your future today.
15. YOU ROCK!!!
Write as many of your achievements as you can think of. No
matter how big or small. Just brainstorm and let it flow. Next to
each, write one word describing how the achievement made
you feel, or phrases you tell yourself or what it means to you.
Take a moment to look at those words and phrases next to the
achievements.
Draw an image of you, a stick person will do.Write your name,
depicting the image. Surround the image with those words and
congratulate yourself!
Cue happy celebratory music and do a little dance :)
16. YOU KNOWYOU CAN DO IT,
RIGHT?
YOU’VE ACHIEVED GOALS IN
THE PAST, SO WHAT’S
STOPPINGYOU ACHIEVING
THEM INTHE NOW ORTHE
FUTURE?
17. EXCUSES, EXCUSES….
• I really want to do things differently, but I can’t because…
• I don’t have time…
• Too busy with my job/kids…
• Commuting eats into my time…
• Can’t afford it…
• Can’t be bothered…
• Goal setting is selfish. I’m not a self-centred person…
• It doesn’t work. I’ve tried before and it’s impossible…
18. MORE EXCUSES, EXCUSES….
• Not sure what I want…
• It’s not something I can do…
• You can’t teach an old dog new tricks…
• I’m too old for all that now…
• Once I get through this busy patch, I’m really going to sort
myself out…
• I like spontaneity! It’s boring to plan things in advance…
• My spouse/parents/kids won’t let me…
• It’s too difficult…
19. WHY DO WE DO ANYTHING?
Ultimately it’s to feel happy! It satisfies a human need. There
are 6 basic human needs.Your feelings from the Celebration
exercise will fall in to either one of the following:
20. 6 HUMAN NEEDS
Needs of the Personality:
Certainty
Uncertainty
Significance
Love/Connection
Needs of the Spirit:
Growth
Contribution
21. OUR NEEDS CREATE A CYCLE:
INTENTION
THOUGHTS
WORDS / FEELINGS
ACTIONS
RESULTS
INTENTION
…
22. Something happens: (external event)
We process it through our unique internal filters and make a
picture in our head (internal representation)
which affects how we feel (our state)
and our physiology (what we do with our body).
That affects what we do (behaviour)
and the results we get in life
The diagram on the next page shows the cycle
24. LET’S LOOK AT HOWTHE
WORDS WE USE AFFECT
HOW WE FEEL,AND
THEREFORE HOW WE ACT,
ANDTHETHINGS WE DO, SO
THE RESULTS WE GET.
OUR WORDS AFFECT OUR
RESULTS
25. IT’S ONLY WORDS...
• Make two lists.
• In one column, list words used in everyday conversations which lift
you and make you feel positive. Ones which imply a way forward
• In the other column list, list word which make you shudder! One’s
implying stuckness, negativity or lack.
• Listen out to other people’s conversations and notice if they use
more of one type of language over another and whether they seem
generally upbeat or downbeat. Is there a correlation? Now be more
wary of the words you chose and notice how it affects your
emotions and the responses you get.Ask someone ‘how are you’...
26. USE MORE OFTHESE:
Can
All Yet
Curious
Will
Everyone Have
Solution
Trust
Lesson Believe
Feeback
Easy
Persistence Challenge
Find
Passion Fresh
Serve Desire
Abundant
Seize the moment Plenty
Action Beginning

27. ELIMINATETHESE!
Won’t Haven’t Must/ Mustn’t
Should Try Hopefully
Problem Lose If
None No-one Failure
End Old Only
Can’t We’ll see.. Who knows
Need to It’s not my fault
It’s not me, it’s you Not bad
OK So-So But
28. •Every single “I can’t.....” is a
creation
•Every single “ I’m not....“
is a creation
29. Responsibility for Goals
When you take 100% responsibility for achieving your outcome and are
willing to do it all by yourself, you won’t have to
To the extent you are not willing to do it all by yourself, you will have to!
When you don’t take 100% responsibility for achieving your outcomes you
are not working magic, you are playing with luck!
The only benefit of not taking 100% responsibility for achieving your
outcome is that you will always have someone to blame
30. YOU ALWAYS GET WHATYOU EXPECT
(not what you deserve...)
Do a little each day
Get in line, Stay in Line
Ditch, Do or Delegate
Lower your standards for success
Rewards yourself & Celebrate
32. HOW BALANCED ISYOUR LIFE
RIGHT NOW?
Health & fitness Intimate relationship
Family & home Finances/wealth
Emotional health / me-time Spirituality
Work / purpose Contribution
Social / recreational Intellectual/educational
33. Then score each section on
how it is for you right now:
outside is 10 = perfect
centre is 0: a long way to go
Mark a line across your score
for each section
Notice where your strengths
are and where improvements
are needed.
Which area are you going to

35. YOUR DESIGNER DAY
Imagine your Perfect Day.
Where do you wake up? What do you see? Who is with you?
How does your morning start?
How do you fill your day?
What does the end of your day look like?
Write down what you see in your Perfect Day.
Visualise it as fully as possible, make it vivid, feel how you would
feel.Visualisation is a powerful technique, here’s how to do it:
36. VISUALISING
• Practice! It’s a new skill and takes time to master
• Visualise as if you are seeing the event through your own eyes
• Connect with your feelings around the future movie
• Turn it up! Make the picture bigger, brighter, sharper.Tune into the
background sounds, the sensations you feel, are there and smells or
flavours which bring the movie to life?
“Vision without action is merely a dream.
Action without vision just passes the time.
Vision with action can change the world”
JOEL A. BARKER
38. •S
SPECIFIC
Exactly what is it you want? Imagine telling a 6 year old! Detail. Be clear
•M
MEASURABLE
What has to happen? What do you have to see /hear /feel to know it has
been achieved?
•
MEANINGFUL TOYOU Is itYOUR goal, or things you think you SHOULD set?
•A
AS IF NOW
Express in present tense
• ALL AREAS OF LIFE
More fulfilling, goals in all areas of life
•R
REALISTIC & RESPONSIBLE
How realistic is the goal for you personally? What degree of
certainty do you have that you can make this happen? It has to be 100%, otherwise you have a
limiting belief. Is the goal good for you, others and the planet?
•T
TIMED
precise time – day, date, month, year for achieving the goal.
•
TOWARDS
focus on what you WANT, not what you don’t want.
39. Key questions to ask yourself about the goal:
Begin by asking yourself: “How is it possible that you haven’t achieved this yet?”
1.
“What specifically do you want?”
2.
“Where am you now in relation to the outcome?”
3.
“What will you see, hear, feel, etc…, when you’ve achieved this?”
4.
“How will you know when you’ve achieved this?”
5.
“What will this outcome get for you or allow you to do?”
6.
“Is it only for you?”
7.
“Where, when, how, and with whom do you want to achieve this?”
8.
“What do you have now, and what do you need to get your outcome?”
• “Have you ever had or done this before?”
• “Do you know anyone who has?”
• “Can you act as if you’ve already achieved this?”
9. “For what purpose do you want this?”
• “What will you gain or lose if you have it?”
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
• What will happen when you get it?
• What won’t happen when you get it?
• What will happen if you don’t get it?
• What won’t happen if you don’t get it?
41. This is a practical, guided exercise best done live.
Alternatively stand with your eyes shut, facing the direction
where you think your future is.
Take a moment to imagine achieving the goal. Breathe into it and
notice how it feels.
Then turn and face towards now. Imagine a connecting line.
Walk down the future time line towards now, noticing the steps
and changes which have to occur as you get closer to now.
You should be able to identify key steps, and be clear on the first
step to take from now.
When you get to now, open your eyes and turn back to face
your future timeline and the achieved goal. Breath 3 deep
breaths, see those steps, feel how you would when it is done.
Future Time-line
43. This is a fun, creative and practical exercise!
Get out your lifestyle magazines, glue, scissors and large piece of
card. Spend some time, around half an hour or more, flicking
through the magazines, cutting out pictures, phrases or words
which stand out for you, which draw you in and connect with
your dreams, the things you want in your life. Stick them on your
card, get as creative as you like. Use stickers or glitter, whatever
you like, and really have fun creating your DreamBoard.
Once done, stick it on your wall, somewhere you will see it
everyday.Take a picture of it and save it as a screensaver.
Dream Board
46. Now write a letter from your future self to the you of now,
telling yourself how wonderful your life turns out to be.
Really let go, describe in full detail where you live, who you
are with, how you fill your day, how you feel living this life.
Advise your younger you, reassure him/her it will all be ok.
This can be quite an emotional exercise. That’s ok. Really
connect, be vivid and make it real to you.
Keep the letter somewhere safe and read it whenever you
need it. If you want to share and read it out to someone
supporting you on your journey, go ahead.
Dear Darling...
48. Wow! You did it!
How are you feeling now?
You did well!!
We covered a lot of deep processes and if you followed through
and played full out, you should be wanting to blast out the happy
music around about now and bust some moves!!
Go hug a friend!
CELEBRATE!!!
You have created your goal! Yaaa!!
Now work with the natural universal laws and start noticing
what comes into your world to support your goal. Do your bit
by taking a little action every day towards what you want and
feel how it would feel to accomplish it. Have patience, be
consistent and be grateful for all you already have.
