2. RMS Automotive team spotlight
Angela McKinnon, Client Architect Manager
As a Client Architect Manager, Angela McKinnon is responsible for managing the scope and deliverability of projects for the technology team with a focus on: Disaster
Recovery, Flex, Actuos US + Global, process, monitoring, infrastructure production and non-production projects.
Prior role?
Prior to RMS Automotive, I was a Project Manager for Manheim, reporting into Trang Stevens.
What does your average day look like?
Since I am on the client side, no two days are the same. I could be traveling to one of our clients for requirements gathering one
day and for UAT, with another client, the next. Integrations are my focus so besides clients I also work with 3rd parties including
other Cox Auto companies such as Manheim, AiM, vAuto and Ready Logistics.
If you could switch roles with anyone, who would it be and why?
I wouldn’t, I love my role! I work with the best team ever!
Why RMS Automotive?
The ability to create something new and to work in an exciting, fast paced environment with amazing people.
“Difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do!”
I am passionate about my health. 1.5 years ago I took a hard, honest look at my life and decided
to make a few changes by putting myself first. I work out every day and eat clean 90% of the
time. I’m 60 pounds lighter and in better shape than I have ever been
Fun Facts
• I am a native Atlantan
• I am part Cherokee
• I lived in a thatched roof hut for a week, off the coast of Panama, with the Kuna Indian
tribe. For those who know how much I HATE camping, this is a shocker. No running water,
slept in a hammock, bathed with rain water, listened to the rats breaking in during the night
to steal my food
