Children in the Spotlight




                              Sian, Niamh & Brooke took part in a gymnastic display in Southport. Fantastic!

                             Ellie and Georgia also took part in a gymnastics display in Southport. Wonderful!

          Emily has passed her Stage 7 Swimming Award and has the Bronze Award for Rookie Lifeguard. Congratulations!

                                                                                 New Activity Trails
             Star of the
                                          We are delighted to see that the 2 new activity trails have been completed and have

                                          been well received by all the school. The trails are a superb addition to the playground -
    RP: Naomi Hall                        the larger one by the MUGA is for KS2 children only and the smaller one by the entrance
                                          is for Y1 and Y2 children only. The children have had a chance to explore them and see

                                          how to use them safely. As with the MUGA, a timetable has been drawn up to give every

                                          class an opportunity to use it every week. Apart from on Friday morning, no children are

                                          allowed to play on this area before and after school. Please help us to keep the children

                                          Over the next few months we hope to add more equipment and improve the markings

                                          Last week’s competition was to design a police mascot. We had a first for competition time-no

Emily has passed her Stage 7 Swimming Award and has the Bronze Award for Rookie Lifeguard. Congratulations! New Activity Trails Star of the We are delighted to see that the 2 new activity trails have been completed and have Week been well received by all the school. The trails are a superb addition to the playground - RP: Naomi Hall the larger one by the MUGA is for KS2 children only and the smaller one by the entrance is for Y1 and Y2 children only. The children have had a chance to explore them and see RP: Alicia Maiden Silver how to use them safely. As with the MUGA, a timetable has been drawn up to give every RT: Morgan Fyles class an opportunity to use it every week. Apart from on Friday morning, no children are RT: Holly Watkins Silver allowed to play on this area before and after school. I know we have had a bit of a break in competitions and I know some classes didn’t have 6M: Alex Wainwright their radios on...so I am going to keep this competition open for one more week, Merseyside Police 6M: Ben Mills are looking for a fun character or animal to promote the work they do in the community. Draw your idea on paper no bigger than A4. Post it in the competition post box outside the hall, with your 6M: Charlotte Fitzgerald Silver name and class on the back by Tuesday 26th January. The winner will receive a competition time 6C: Liam Beirne prize, but all entries will be sent on to Merseyside Police to have the chance of winning a mega 6C: Lewis Harwood Silver drawing set and having your design turned into the new Merseyside Police Mascot.
