Norwood’s Next Big Thing!

Alan Sugar eat your heart out! What young entrepreneurs we have! The week began with children making the products
that they were going to sell and ended with a big sale on Thursday 23rd June. The children were amazing, explaining their
products and persuading people to buy!
As parents you were fantastic, supporting and encouraging the children as you looked at all the products, but mainly, for
completing your feedback sheets in such detail and with such enthusiasm.

Here are some of your comments:

‘What a great idea! Really enjoyed the market stalls.’

‘My daughter has loved the last fortnight!’

‘The children all seemed involved, even the quieter ones gained confidence! It is a real incentive for them to design, make
                                                 and sell their craft work.’

‘Very good selling techniques. I am impressed with all the hard work with handmade goods.’

Your main criticism was the noise in the hall, which we are all in agreement with and hope to change in any future
                                                     enterprise work.

                                                  So on to the winners:

                                               Parent’s best product: Year 6

                                              Most percentage of profit: 4M

Total profit towards the Arts Festival: £1012.84

Finally, we would love to thank you all for such enthusiasm and generosity.

  • 4. Norwood’s Next Big Thing! Alan Sugar eat your heart out! What young entrepreneurs we have! The week began with children making the products that they were going to sell and ended with a big sale on Thursday 23rd June. The children were amazing, explaining their products and persuading people to buy! As parents you were fantastic, supporting and encouraging the children as you looked at all the products, but mainly, for completing your feedback sheets in such detail and with such enthusiasm. Here are some of your comments: ‘What a great idea! Really enjoyed the market stalls.’ ‘My daughter has loved the last fortnight!’ ‘The children all seemed involved, even the quieter ones gained confidence! It is a real incentive for them to design, make and sell their craft work.’ ‘Very good selling techniques. I am impressed with all the hard work with handmade goods.’ Your main criticism was the noise in the hall, which we are all in agreement with and hope to change in any future enterprise work. So on to the winners: Parent’s best product: Year 6 Most percentage of profit: 4M Total profit towards the Arts Festival: £1012.84 Finally, we would love to thank you all for such enthusiasm and generosity.
