Last Friday Year 6 were given free tickets to go to Vue Cinemas as part of National Film Week. With Mr Postlethwaite
setting the pace, we walked all the way to Ocean Plaza in less than hour. Even Mrs Coleman managed it with her short
legs! As we have been writing a Quest story recently, we decided to watch Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. It was a
brilliant film. Look out after half term for our film review. As the weather was lovely, we decided to have our lunch at the
end of the Pier and then walked home via Hesketh Park. We all enjoyed our day and can’t wait for our next trip out.
