  Year 4’s Royal Performance!                                                                        Last Tuesday, Year 4 boarded coaches
                                                                                                     destined for Preston Guild Hall. Schools
                                                                                                     from around the region gathered to watch
                                                                                                     a brilliant performance given by The
                                                                                                     Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
                                                                                                     Through music, the concert addressed the problems
                                                                                                     facing our planet, and included short bursts of
                                                                                                     audience participation that had them skiing down
                                                                                                     the piste, and swimming to the bottom of the ocean
                                                                                                     with the blue whales.
                                                                                                     The 80 minute performance was fantastic from start
                                                                                                     to finish and one that the children (and teachers!)
                                                                                                     will remember for a long time to come.


Shinewaves Competition
Last week’s competition was to design a dog exercising machine. There

Norwood Primary School Newsletter Highlights Activities and Students' Successes
