2. New methodology - intro
 From the invention of the syringe with the needle made from the
French surgeon Charles Gabriel Pravaz (1840) the science always
looks for less traumatic means to inject medicine
 In 1998 a group of Italian researchers fixed a new method, well
tested in Universities, Clinics and Toxicology hospitals, which can be
considered a virtual syringe, where the needle is substitued with
pulse and modal electricity which permits the trans-dermis
movement of the active ingredient

3. New methodology – main theoretical aspects
 The system is made of an electricity generator, two electrodes and
the biological tissue
 It is like a circuit where the tissue is the resistance
 The succession of stimulus with a modulated sequence of circa 1
sec allows the active ingredients to move through the cutaneous
barrier, towards the ionic channels of the cellular membrane, thus
activating quickly the cellular metabolism
 This allows local therapy up to 10 cm depth without skin injuries,
without contact with other organ, without interaction with the
circulatory system

4. Testing: materials and methods
 Treatment done with rabbits (adults New Zealand-2 kg) with
progesterone solutions marked with I 125 (Byk) 3800 cpm.
 Radioactivity measured with automatic tool SR300 Tratec (Byk)
 The comparison is made between the method of conveyance of
cryo-electrophoresis and the new method by Hydroelettroforesi
 After a treatment near the pubis (1000 Hz) the radioactivity in the
urine was:
 5% with the first methodology,
 79% with the Hydroelettroforesi method
