This is a power point presentation for Japanese junior high school grade 3 students. This is for unit 6 (Relative pronouns) and introduces (6) Nobel prize winners and serves as a jumping off point for discussions in class and gives examples of grammar to expand upon as a class.

This is an introduction lesson plan for the first month of the 2015~2016 school year for first year JHS students. This is for use with the "New Horizon" series of books.
Within this lesson plan for the first month of school I try to use the "I, WE, YOU" lesson plan template while also utilizing "PCPP" & "ARCS" teaching methods as the leading pedagogy for the classes.

This is a review activity for Japanese junior high school students.
The presentation begins with a review of interrogatives.
Next students are put in groups in order to create original headlines to share with the class/

New horizon Book 1 unit 4 [Japanese English Textbook]Austin Lantz
This is a production class for Japanese first year junior high school students.
The presentation begins with a listening exercise. The students will watch a video and try to pick up the grammar that is repeated many times. After students discuss what it is they think they heard they are shown the grammar point and watch the video again.
Next students discuss what the grammar point's meaning is and if they have encountered it before if so in what context.
Students will then have the grammar explained.
Students will then use the grammar. Using pictures, students will ask their ask their friends questions using the grammar. After all students have guessed the teacher will ask the students and reveal the answers to the students.
Students Comprehension and understanding will then be challenged before moving on to the next "expansion" part.
In expansion students will draw their own mystery pictures and use their grammar knowledge to interact with their partners while taking memos.
Finally students will cool down with a writing activity

This is a show and tell production class for third year junior high school students.
The presentation opens with a discussion video. This is meant to get students thinking in English and involved. The students will listen to a girl introduce her doll. The students will then discuss what the girl said.
Next students will listen to the teacher while looking at a series of picture and discuss the meaning as a class. Once the students are satisfied with their understanding, they will listen once more and look at the pictures but this time they will have the English to aid their understanding. After which, students will discuss what was different from their interpretation and the text meaning.
Next the students will get into groups to create a show and tell of their own and present it with in their groups or to the class.
Finally the students will listen to the little girl's introduction one more time and try to answer questions about her show and tell.

This is a group activity for an introduction to English for junior high students. In this presentation, one group of students will be asked to look at a series of pictures and describe them to the opposite group. The group would then have to draw what was described to them [then visa versa].
There is also listening comprehension & modeling section where students are asked to listen to teachers do a simple introduction conversation and discuss with their partners the meaning and usage of the grammar.
Finally there is a production stage where students create an original introduction script using the grammar to initiate conversations with their partners.
