INTRODUCTION- Nursing has been called the oldest of the art, and the youngest of the profession. As such, it has gone through many stages and has been an integral part of social movements. Nursing has been involved in in the existing culture, shaped by it and yet beeping to develop it. The trend analysis and future scenarios provide a basis for sound decision making through mapping of possible futures and aiming to create preferred futures.
The world health organization (who) has been considering the future and predicts that by 2000 the world experiences:
Major growth in the elderly population
Decline in birth rate, especially in western counteries
Increase in chronic illness
Continuing social unrest

Explore the world of neurological diseases in this thorough investigation, explaining their significance, frequency, available treatments, and difficulties associated with long-term conditions
Neurology is the branch of medicine that deals with disorders of the nervous system, which include the brain, blood vessels, muscles, and nerves. The main areas of neurology are the autonomic, central, and peripheral nervous systems. A physician who works in the field of neurology is called a neurologist; a neurosurgeon treats neurological disorders via surgery.

Effects of Mindfulness Yoga vs Stretching and Resistance Training Exercises o...Divya Singh
Effects of Mindfulness Yoga vs Stretching and Resistance Training Exercises on Anxiety and Depression for People With Parkinson Disease : A Randomized Clinical Trial - Parkinson disease (PD) is the second most common chronic neurodegenerative disease with heterogeneous symptomatology.1
Although PD is characterized by 4 motor symptoms (resting tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia, and postural instability), patients with PD experience a variety of nonmotor symptoms, including neuropsychiatric problems, cognitive impairment, sleep disturbances, and autonomic dysfunction.
Psychological distress, including anxiety and depression (frequently co-occuring), is common in patients with PD, with a prevalence of 40% to 50%,2 and is associated with care dependency, poor work and social function, fast physical and cognitive decline, increased dementia risk, and high mortality.
In the intricate web of human health, few branches of medicine hold as much promise and potential as neurology. The fascinating world of the brain and nervous system has long captivated the imaginations of scientists and healthcare professionals alike. Today, we delve into the realm of "Neurology Unleashed" at the forefront of healthcare in Jaipur.

Ethanol (CH3CH2OH), or beverage alcohol, is a two-carbon alcohol
that is rapidly distributed in the body and brain. Ethanol alters many
neurochemical systems and has rewarding and addictive properties. It
is the oldest recreational drug and likely contributes to more morbidity,
mortality, and public health costs than all illicit drugs combined. The
5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
(DSM-5) integrates alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence into a single
disorder called alcohol use disorder (AUD), with mild, moderate,
and severe subclassifications (American Psychiatric Association, 2013).
In the DSM-5, all types of substance abuse and dependence have been
combined into a single substance use disorder (SUD) on a continuum
from mild to severe. A diagnosis of AUD requires that at least two of
the 11 DSM-5 behaviors be present within a 12-month period (mild
AUD: 2–3 criteria; moderate AUD: 4–5 criteria; severe AUD: 6–11 criteria).
The four main behavioral effects of AUD are impaired control over
drinking, negative social consequences, risky use, and altered physiological
effects (tolerance, withdrawal). This chapter presents an overview
of the prevalence and harmful consequences of AUD in the U.S.,
the systemic nature of the disease, neurocircuitry and stages of AUD,
comorbidities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, genetic risk factors, and
pharmacotherapies for AUD.

Durata de pregatire: 4 ani
Neurologia este specialitatea care se ocupă cu diagnosticarea,
tratarea şi recuperarea bolnavilor cu suferinţe ale sistemului
nervos.
4. Pathway evaluation program
Neurology offers an exciting and intellectual avenue for those interested in the brain,
spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles in both adults and children. Recent
advances now allow the accurate diagnosis and treatment of many severely disabling
disorders considered unapproachable 20 years ago.
Neurologists treat patients who have a variety of disorders, including headaches,
strokes, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, dystonia, muscular dystrophy, peripheral
nerve disease, learning disorders, traumatic injuries to the nervous system, Parkinson’s,
Huntington’s, and Alzheimer’s disease. Some are also engaged in neurological
rehabilitation. Many neurological problems are characterized by pain and can be
chronic, debilitating, and difficult to treat.
A large portion of the practice of neurology is consultative, but the neurologist may also
be the primary physician. The specialty has close links with psychiatry, with which it
maintains a combined certification board. Clinical neurophysiology is a subspecialty in
the diagnosis and management of central and peripheral nervous system disorders
using electrophysiological techniques.
