Sam Horton is a storyboard artist with over ten years of experience in the animation industry. He discussed his career working on projects for studios like Aardman and Jellyfish Pictures. The masterclass showed example storyboards from films like Taxi Driver and side-by-side comparisons of storyboards and finished scenes from movies and shows. The presentation helped attendees better understand the purpose and process of storyboarding in developing animated content. Attendees learned that some animators act out scenes physically to help visualize them, and that taking notes and asking questions is valuable career advice.
