2. The UK has some of the best
children’s hospitals in the world;
but some of the most congested
roads, limited numbers of beds
and a land ambulance service
that has to get through whatever
the weather!
This seriously ill child took eight
hours to get from Lincoln to
Nottingham in a land ambulance
– a journey taking approx 20
minutes in a helicopter!

3. Due to bed
availability some
children, even if
close to a major
hospital, have to
be moved the
length of the
country.

4. Eight newborn
babies die every day
in the UK
With the help of
NETS UK some of
those will live!

5. NETS UK will provide the
UK’s first children’s aero-
medical inter hospital
transfer service
Flying 24/7
Staffed by specially trained
doctors and nurses

Approx £3000.00 per day to fly
Or around £1,200,000.00 pa

Around 2 children a day transferred or just
under 1000 potential lives saved a year!
