A life of Nelson Mandela

2. Roluhala dalibhunga Mandela Was born on 18 july
1918 in a smal village in the easter cape of south
africa . He was one of 13 childres

3. At the age of seven, he became the first member of
his family to go to school. At that time, all black
children were given english names by their teachers.
Roluahla became Nelson

4. When manedla was nine yeas old, his father died,
and mandela became the royal leade of his tribe

5. After he finished school, Nelson
Mandela studied law at university.
He also enjoyed boxing and running

6. As a lawyer and member of the african national
congres ,he fought against the system of apartheid in
sout africa

7. In 1964, he was sent to prision for life, for ''tryping
down the goverment'' he spent 18 of his years in
prision on robben island

8. In 1990, mendela was realassed from prision by the
prime minister Mr FW De Klerk

9. In 1993 Mendala and De Klerk won the nobel peace
prize. A year later, he became the first black president
of the new south africa
