  • #11 When I post stuff on Craigslist, I almost always inflate the price – sometimes I put $$ OBO (or best offer) -- Why? Because I expect a little haggling. I don’t love haggling – but I definitely don’t love later finding out I got a bad deal.

  • #38 Remember, your peace of mind is worth something. Also, the unforeseen/unknown of the new job should cause you to create a padding on top of your comparisons. Stability of the company and future opportunities counts for something as well.
