NASSCOM is the premier organization that represents and sets the tone for public policy for the Indian software
industry. Inspiria partnered with NASSCOM to host the TechConclave 2016 to build a platform for entrepreneurship
and also to create an awareness about the start-up facilities available for the new entrepreneur.
NASSCOM TechConclave 2016 opened a new platform for the edupreneures and the entrepreneurs of this region.
Students from Inspiria Knowledge Campus and from other colleges in this region participated in the event. The
launch of the incubation center at Inspiria Knowledge Campus named STUP for the startups was the highlight
of the event. The session started with Pro. Indrajit Chaterjee, Inspiria Knowlege Campus giving details about the
functioning of the incubation center and the facilities that will be provided for the growth and development of the
new startups. Highlights on StartUp Ecosystem was given by Mr. Rajiv Vaishnav, Head Ecosystem & Partnership
at GenNext Hub. He motivated the youngsters and the intrapreneurs to come up with new ideas and strategies.
Mr.Kamal Agarwal Chairman NASSCOM TechConclave spoke on how they always wanted to bring the students,
academicians and the business house together. This desire was made possible at 2016 NASSCOM TechConclave
, where audience from all the three sectors participated.
Dr. Som Singh Dutta – Founder and Chief Marketing – Unspun Counsulting Group (UCG), spoke on the need of the
hour where academicians have to be in par with the latest technologies, so that they can provide the best for their
students. The students were also encouraged to generate new ideas and also to venture into the market with their
own startups.
Mr. Ravi Kedia Co- founder at TradeDesk highlighted on Leverage Technology for Operations. According to him
being rigid with marketing of the products in todays world will have a negative impact rather than a positive impact.
So adviced all the entrepreneurs to bring in change and adopt the new technology to market the products.
The sessions also inspired the students to succede through their failures and to enhance their skills required to
sustain in the business world. It was an event where the entrepreneurs and the intrapreneurs gained ideas and
visions to uplift themselves in their own respective fields.
