A NASSCOM 10,000 START-UPs INTIATIVE hosted by inspiria knowledge campus
The Techconclave, North Bengal 2015 organized by NASSCOM under NASSCOM 10,000 Start-ups initiative and
hosted by Inspiria Knowledge Campus was aimed at building a strong business environment in eastern India.
The event witnessed hands-on activities and sessions, giving attendees an understanding of the benefits and
challenges of entrepreneurialism. Attended by 300+ students from different colleges and technical institutes of
North Bengal, Sikkim and Bhutan, it was an ideal platform for students to interact with industry leaders and get
insights on the latest technologies, trends, industry requirements and expectations.
Mr. Kamal Agarwala, Chairman of NASSCOM ERPC, delivered the inaugural speech where he advised students
with valuable tips for their future. Mr. Nirupam Chaudhuri, Regional Director of NASSCOM, talked about
innovations to be adopted by the students in their professional life.
Mr. Arun Agrawal, CMD of Ebizindia, addressed the students about job readiness in today’s world. He took a
session on Career Makeover, where he emphasized on the aspect of how to choose a career and pursue a
dream which enables them to be successful. The session gave all the participating students a clear picture of the
expectations of the industry.
Mr. Ravi Ranjan gave an introduction to NASSCOM 10,000 Start-ups. He spoke about how NASSCOM has
investors willing to invest in a scalable business idea and how easy it is to become an entrepreneur in today’s
world.
Mr. Rajat Agarwalla, CEO of RJ Softwares, spoke about entrepreneurship and opportunities for students in the
gaming Industry. He also briefed them about different job profiles in the gaming industry.
Prof. Indrajeet Chatterjee, Principal, Inspiria Knowledge Campus thanked the dignitaries for coming all the way to
Siliguri and gracing the occasion. It was decided at that the
Tech-Conclave event will be an annual event to help the technology students get a first-hand idea about the
professional world, which they will be a part of after they finish their studies.
