Responsibilities as a Geologist:
Day to day monitoring of Ground Settlement Markers, Building Settlement Markers etc.
Real time monitoring for the building using Crack meters above the tunnel alignment.
Dynamic Probing Test to find out Cavities and the Underground information.
Worked with Tunnel design team and the civil works team on ground improvements works (Such as
Surface Grouting along the Tunnel alignment).
Calculating Face Pressure for EPB TBM either Ring wise or Chainage wise.
Calculating Thrust Pressure for EPB TBM for penetrate the applied face support pressure.
Face Mapping & Photo Mapping under Compressed Air up to 1.4 bar, (10 TBM Cutter Head / Tunnel
face Interventions under belt till November 2015).
Providing Geological information about the underground to Tunnel team and Design team.
Conducting various tests for soil or rocks such as Slump Test etc.
Responsibilities as a Shift Engineer:
Preparation of daily progress reports about all the TBM advance works including all mechanical,
electrical, civil works along with the general surface works.
Stock controls of all the materials used for the TBM works in daily routine.
Distribution and management of manpower for different works either inside the tunnel or at the
surface.
Monitoring all the activities carried out on the shifts.
