Title : Design of a structure with “GLASS FIBRE REINFORCED GYPSUM PANNELS”.
Objective : The mainobjective of this project to design “ECONOMICAL AND TIME EFFICIENT“
as compared to conventional concrete structure.
Description : This project presents the use of GFRG wall panel as a lateral load resisting
componentinbuildingsbasedonanumerical analysis procedure to arrive at its capacity estimation
underaxial compression, compression with inplane bending. Variation of buckling load of unfilled
GFRG wall panels forvariouswidthsisreported. The axial load carrying capacity of 1.02 m wide and
2.85 m highwall panel,obtainedfromthe numerical analysis.While assessingthe axial load capacity
for design under compression, a minimum possible eccentricity (causing out-ofplane bending) is
accounted for.
