This document outlines the Nanhi Kali project run by Ayurjeevanam Sewa Samiti Trust in India. The project aims to sponsor education for underprivileged girls to help address issues like female illiteracy, low rates of girls completing secondary school, and declining child sex ratios in India. The project provides annual sponsorship of Rs. 1,800-2,500 per girl for uniforms, books and school supplies. Sponsors receive updates on girls' progress and can volunteer time for activities like tutoring or community engagement. The selected girls come from low-income families in Uttar Pradesh and sponsorship ensures they can complete class 10 regardless of their families' circumstances.
