2. CHOICE OF DEPLOYMENT
Nakisa Cloud eliminates the need to purchase, install
and maintain servers to host Nakisa’s solutions, without
compromising the functionality or security of the application.
Nakisa’s unique architecture leverages SAP’s data model and
works as its data repository. This architecture makes it possible
to run Nakisa’s solutions in the private cloud environment
without any persistent data. The information is maintained
directly in a customer’s SAP environment. Only the information
required is loaded in Nakisa’s main memory and is then
discarded when it is no longer needed. No data remains on the
Nakisa cloud server when it is terminated and, since the data is
written back live to SAP, no data is lost.
Nakisa On-Premise provides customers with unparalleled
scalability and flexibility with complete control over their
infrastructure and data management. The on-premise
deployment option also gives customers control over their
customizations, providing the ease to implement complex
processes that meet unique internal requirements.
Furthermore, customers who must meet compliance
guidelines governing company data management have
the ability to host Nakisa’s solutions in-house without
losing any convenience or functionality that is also present
in Nakisa Cloud.

The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and
the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) an-
nounced the release of the converged standard on the
recognition of revenue from contracts with customers.
The goal is to introduce uniformity and predictability to
otherwise widely divergent revenue recognition prac-
tices. Separately, the FASB and IASB have also proposed
changes for how organizations should account for leases.
The upshot is that most leases will have to be reported on
each company’s balance sheet in the future.

ing SAP’s revenue recognition and lease accounting
capabilities, that provides:

and assessing revenue contract data in a compliant
manner;
