A 46-year-old male patient presented with shortness of breath, chest pain, back discomfort, and fatigue for several weeks. Medical tests found elevated kidney and liver enzymes as well as high blood pressure. The ECG and symptoms indicated a diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction. Risk factors for the patient included previous hypertension, smoking, and no family history of cardiovascular disease. He was prescribed medications including antibiotics, aspirin, diuretics, blood pressure medications, and nitroglycerin to treat the heart attack and manage symptoms and risk factors.
