My Teaching Philosophy

    -Katelyn Shafer
I believe that every student wants
     to succeed, but may need
guidance to achieve their success.
Educators have to remember
that every student is unique
and they deserve activities that
are engaging to their strengths.
Teaching Methods
• Plan curriculum based on students
  interests
• Have the students set goals for
  themselves during the school year
• Provide guidance for each student
  in the classroom
• Let the students brainstorm new
  ideas and activities for the
  curriculum
My passion for teaching will
   lead me to achieve my
 objectives because I always
want to bring out the best in all
       of my students.
       I can
       do it!
Teaching is important to me because. . .
I am able to be a part of a child’s learning and
growth throughout their primary years of school.

It’s a wonderful feeling to be with children and
see their faces light up when they discover
           something new and exciting.
Learning
   can, and
should be fun
 for children
and adults of
   all ages!
