Certified Elementary School Teacher N-6
Dedicated elementary teacher, with an extensive literacy background, is eager to resume a full
time teaching position after substituting for three years in grades N-12 in regular and special

and socio-economical diverse populations in both urban and rural settings.
Establish high expectations for students; continuously seek out ways to improve instruction,

Additional Information
Hired as a full time teacher as soon as I left college and continued for 20 years in NY until my
husband decided he wanted to start a new career and we moved to PA. I love teaching and I am
not looking for a salary commensurate with my teaching experience or what I earned in NY.
Substituting just doesn’t compare to having your own classroom where you can truly engage with
your students and collegues.
