I am Aira L. Mabaga, 18
years of age, a third year
college student taking up
Bachelor in Secondary
Education, major in
English at Cavite State
University – Main
Campus.
Educational Technology is '
work is learning and
learning is work'. It
conveys that when you
are working, you are
learning.
My Reflection in Educational Technology
One person say that “Learning is not what you know,
it is all about what you didn't know.”
Learning is not all about how smart you are because
you know everything, it is all about knowing what you didn’t
know and searching what is the answer.
My Reflection in Educational Technology
Everyone can say they know everything, but in
the first place, they didn't experience those things.
Educational technology is not all about the
gadgets itself, but it us all about the techniques on how
they will use technology in a correct and better way.
Educational technology is all about engaging
the teachers as well as the learners to use technology in
education. Technology doesn't always fit, we must know
the strebgth of ut, as well as the weaknesses.
My Reflection in Educational Technology
People say that the teachers will never be
replaced by the computers. Computer will be the tool to
guide the teacher and not a manipulator who will
manipulate the one who created it.
My Reflection in Educational Technology
Direct and purposeful experience
Direct experiences are firsthand experiences that serve as the foundation
of learning. The opposite of direct experiences are indirect experiences
or vicarious experiences.
My Reflection in Educational Technology
Direct and purposeful experience
Direct experiences are basically what the students can learn by
doing it. This way of teaching is known to be the most effective
way of teaching the students because experiences are the best
teacher.

Cooperative learning is learning in small groups where each
student is actively engaged in a three-step process: research,
discussion, and group decision making.
My Reflection in Educational Technology
My Reflection in Educational Technology
Cooperative learning is goal-oriented. Through research
and the sharing of information and ideas, students
construct a group understanding or larger picture which
leads them toward new meanings and insights. The group
may be working toward creating a statement or a report, a
solution or a completed project that expresses what the
group has learned.
What I learned in EdTc21 and Edtc22?
I learned to use software in a very efficient way. It helps
me to lessen my stress when it comes on making a design I want.
I learned to do a good PowerPoint. What are the font size and style
that I will use? What are the designs and colors that are good looking
in the eyes of the audience and fit to the presentation?
Presentation:
I learned what are the things that needed in the presentation. It
needed to have a outline or the other term is organized.
We learned how to manage a big
event like pageant. It helps us in
organizing things

Reporting:
I learned to project a good
reporting. Our mentor helps
us in enhancing our skills and
boosting our confidence
through activities.
I learned to act in front of others and sometimes we also
dance like Pantomime.
What I am after Educational Technology?
“It is important to remember that educational software,
like textbooks, is only one tool in the learning process. Neither
can be a substitute for well-trained teachers, leadership, and
parental involvement.” – Keith Krueger
What I am after Educational Technology?
After I take the subject of Educational Technology, it helps in
knowing what are my limitations when using technology in my daily
living. It helps me in a way that I the teachers will never replace them
when it comes on giving ideas.
Technology is not a cure but it is only a medicine that will
helps me in gaining ideas.
What I am after Educational Technology?
After Educational Technology, I understand that people need
to communicate with other people through personal talk not in
technology because sometimes people doesn’t understand well others
because of the barriers.
I am happy socializing with people; friends and family
through intrapersonal communication. I am not a fan of gadgets. I
totally enjoy my life with it.

It helps me in a way that I the teachers will never replace them when it comes on giving ideas. Technology is not a cure but it is only a medicine that will helps me in gaining ideas.

After Educational Technology, I understand that people need to communicate with other people through personal talk not in technology because sometimes people doesn’t understand well others because of the barriers. I am happy socializing with people; friends and family through intrapersonal communication. I am not a fan of gadgets. I totally enjoy my life with it.
