2. My Brand
Archetype:
The explorer, I have always wanted to
blaze my own path away from my family
norms. Early in life, I felt as though I had to
follow those norms, but as I get older, I
realize that going after what I find
enjoyable is far more important to me.
Hero's Journey:
My life as a child was all about one thing
working on cars and sports. Only one of
those things I chose to do the other was
forced upon me. As I got older, I gave in to
what was expected rather than what was
wanted, and now with more life
experience under my belt, I am grabbing
what I want and taking it. My journey has
just gotten started.

17. Self-Reflection
At an early age, it felt like destiny that I would stay in my hometown and work on cars like every other male in my
family before me. One day when I was going to high school, they had military recruiters outside our lunchroom, and
the Air Force poster said Aim High. So as a person who did not want to go into the family business and just wanted to
escape small town USA, I jumped at the opportunity to try something new. Unfortunately for me, when I joined the
USAF signed me up to be an airplane mechanic. At this point, it felt as though my destiny of being a mechanic was
inescapable, and for seven long years, I did the job I despised doing but had to do it. After I left the military in 2019, I
immediately went into making airplane parts I had experienced, and it felt unavoidable, so I leaned into it, but after
about three years of feeling completely unhappy, I decided enough was enough I wanted to be a part of something I
loved and enjoyed so I joined Full Sail University with the aspirations of doing so, I have always been in love with
sports and intrigued by the inner working of marketing and promoting a sports team. Attending School felt like the
most logical and realistic way to accomplish my lifelong dreams of working on a marketing team for a major sports
team. Growing up, I wanted to be a part of the Green Bay Packers in the worst way, and I still dream about that now,
and hopefully, one day, those dreams will be realized.
