clothing section and another to draw
attention to the men's) made it much easier
for the shopper to understand the layout of
             store.

             according to customer needs.

       • Display: One of the best examples of
           how extravagant products are arranged.

to stay in store and enjoy while
           browsing around.

enthusiasm was conveyed face to face.
     • Products: Balance between product and
space to roam around made the display
         look aesthetically pleasing. Items were
simply lined up linearly. Vary the height
and level of your display to adequately fill
         the space.

         experience, customers inclined to return.”

      display was eye catching
  • Environment: Background materials and props,
a few mannequins and assorted inventory; a
scene that makes a statement, created a potential
to visualize items in context. This made me
more likely to stop in and browse.
  • Personnel: Too over-eager, sequacious
  • Products: Attention-grabbing.
  • Customers: “Shop attendants are not trained to
deal with customers the way we want them to.”
• Surprising as it may seem, the meticulous
efforts that shop owners make to enhance the
shopping experience of their customers really
pays off, and the minutest of details actually
attract customers (read: profits) for their
store. This project proved to an eye opener
for me and has definitely helped me in
  improving my observation skills.
