some background and major topics presented in his book. I will describe how his topics can be
useful in nursing practice, as well as my own practice. I will end this paper with a look into how

Justice in Romero The influential and gripping film, Romero , directed by John Duigan, portrays
the life and death of Archbishop Oscar Romero. The movie shows the world through the eyes of
the El Salvadorian people during the 1980 s, when poverty and military rule flourished over the
people. The country of El Salvadorwas run by an elite group of few who controlled most of the
power and money, leaving the majority of the people deprived and powerless. This imbalance in the
social system left much of the people under oppression, constantly controlled by the corrupt
government and even sometimes persecuted when they tried to speak out. The church was a

At first this is what Romero did, he preached to be peacemakers and not to revolt. But after the
government shot their weapons into crowds indiscriminately at a worship ceremony held
outside, killing a few people including a priest who was also Romero s close friend, was when
Romero begins to rebuke the government and lead the struggle for justice and human rights in
the country. Romero develops into a man who rocks the boat. In that, meaning he organized
rallies and masses that brought the people together causing anger upon the government. He leads
a peasant march into a church that is occupied by soldiers in order to perform mass, and also
offends and defies the El Salvadorian president. Throughout the movie, Romero is faced with
challenge after challenge from the military and government, but through it all he continued to
speak to his people and praising the word of god. The film came to a tragic ending as Archbishop
Romero was shot by a hired assassin during mass. Although martyred for his beliefs, his spirit
lived on in the Salvadorian people. Father Romero was a very influential figure. Inclined himself
by the masses of poverty stricken individuals harmed by the government, Romero was a man who

The story about Gilgamesh is one of the earliest pieces of world literature dating back to the
second millennium B.C.E. This story has been evolved gradually over a long span of a
millennium, and has been enjoyed by many nations. The Epic of Gilgamesh teaches life lessons that
apply to the past and present while revolving around the question of what it means to be human, and
to experience the phenomenon of friendship, love, and death.
Notably, the thing about human life is that everyone desires friendship or to be simply not be
alone. In the story of the epic of Gilgamesh talks about how friendship changed his whole life.

According to Knight and Giuliano s 2001 article, gender equality has been and will remain a
current topic of hot discussion in the media and its portrayal of athletes. Athletes have a unique
ability to deliver their thoughts and information to the masses through the media outlets given to
them in regard to their social status. Once the media has heard what the athletes have to say it
can be at the media s hand for interpretation. In this specific study 92 undergraduates were given a
fake newspaper that covered an Olympian with the main focus being on attractiveness. The
study covered male and female athletes in the newspaper article while focusing predominantly
on attractiveness. Results show that the readers not only disliked the attraction focus, but also
preferred the reading be more focused on the athleticism of the Olympians. The largest take

Introduction I chose to read my chosen student the book, When Sophie Gets Angry Really,
Really Angry...by Molly Bang. I thought this would be an appropriate book to read because my
selected child has the most difficulty in the area of emotional development, and often cannot
appropriately express his emotions. I have observed on several occasions the child becoming
angry and then acting out negative behaviors such as; kicking, screaming, hitting, and punching.
