Los Angeles, California in Unites States. They made an album it is called

AWOLNATION born in 2009 when Aaron Bruno was approached by Red Bull
Records, who offered him free use of a recording studio in Los Angeles.
Bruno wrote and recorded a few songs and pass an "agreement" with the
label. AWOLNATION is the nickname of Bruno when he was in highschool.
I think the story behind the song is somebody who have problem with drugs
and alcool and try to find a way to escape.
The song make me sad when I listen the word but the rythm of the music
make me dance.
