Ariadna traveled to Finland for a school exchange program. She took a train and bus to the airport, then flew to Finland where she was met by her host family. During her stay, she visited her host school and participated in workshops, went on trips to nature parks and museums in Helsinki, played games on an island, and had a final party at her host school before returning home. She enjoyed learning about the Finnish education system and spending time with her host family, though was sad to say goodbye at the end of the trip.
"Look what I just bought! Look at that lipstick! Isn't that gorgeous?"
Sorry, but boring. Let's better go to a World Discovery Trip which this time is going to take us to Denmark, to Faroe Islands, to Iceland, to Scotland and more.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
2. How did we travel?
We went by train from Žilina to Prague at
0:44 in the morning.
Then we went by bus to the airport.
We were waiting there for a long time.
Finally, we boarded the plane after a few
hours. When we were travelling by plane,
I was very happy because I like flying by
plane. When we got off the plane, my host
family was waiting for me in the airport
(mum: Minna, her daughter: Peppi).
With them I was waiting a portugal girl
Diana.
In fact, I was afraid of my English „skills“.
3. First day, we had a school tour in
Kirkkonummi.
It was very interesting because
their school is more modern than
schools in Slovakia.
I really like their school.
Then, we had some workshops.
For example:
-we were playing kantele or
-we had a program to control the
robots.
4. Second day
In the morning , we went by
bus to the center of Haltia in the
Finnish National Park Nuuksio.
We were walking through the
Finnish nature in the forest.
We learned something about
Finnish nature.
Then we visited a reindeer’s
farm . I think that there were
about four reindeer.
They were very cute.
I wanted to grab one with me
(:D).
5. Third day
In the morning, we went by bus
to the capital city of Finland –
Helsinki.
At first, we went to visit National
Library Oodi. The library was
very big.
Then we went to the Ateneum
museum. There were paintings
inspired by Finnish nature.
Then we visited the Cathedral of
the Evangelical Church.
It was really nice.
Finally, we went to visit
Uspensky Cathedral. It was like a
fairy tale because the cathedral
looks like a fairy tale castle.
6. We spent the fourth
day on the Island of
Linlo, where we were
playing the game (we
were looking for lost
diamonds). My team
won. I was surprised
because I had little cute
girls in my team.
We had lunch there.
We had sausages and
hot tea. It was pretty
good.
7. Fifth day
The last day we spent at school.
We watched the children learning.
Their learning system is very, very
good .
My opinion is that we have a lot of
learning and we remember too little.
It is good that they sometimes talk
with teachers in English, we can see
that younger children can speak
better than we do.
Their schools are very good.
We had an evening party.
There was a lot of good food
(paradise).
8. Back to reality
Last day with my host family...
We played some games.
We enjoyed the week together.
We were playing bowling, we were
in jumparena, we were shopping,
I was skating with Jakub on ice
and we played some funny games.
It was amazing.
When we came to the airport
I started to cry because I had to
say goodbye.
When we came to Prague we were
waiting for the train, we all had
hamburgers. And when we came to
Žilina, my parents surprised me with
a balloon „Welcome home“.
