The student took a learning preference survey that showed they were most reflective, sensual, sequential, and verbal. However, based on their own experience, they felt they learned best visually and verbally. The survey results did not change their view that their top learning preferences were visual and verbal. Overall, the student believes a survey alone cannot determine someone's best learning style and it must be figured out individually.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

1. Learning Preference:
After taking the learning preference survey, my results were as follow: Reflective-1, Sensual-7,
Sequential-3, and Verbal-3. By the end of this course, my thinking has encouraged me to believe that I
definitely learn best visually, and verbally. By the looks of my results, I did not score high in the visual
and verbal portion of the survey, but I know that from firsthand experience, my learning preference is
learning visually and verbally. In addition, the result of the learning preference survey did not change my
view on the two learning preferences that suit me best. Overall, I do not believe that a survey can
determine what learning preference is best for you that is something you need to figure out within
yourself.

2. Learning Preference:
For many reasons the learning pathway I chose at the beginning of the class is the warrior
pathway. I chose this particular pathway because I wanted to see self progression, personal growth, as
well as improvement within my academics over the semester. I wanted to be able to experience all
these things more on an individual level, rather than in a group. I do not mind working in groups at all,
but like I stated earlier, I wanted to experience the class on more of an individual level, rather than with
a group. From taking this course in general, on top of choosing the warrior pathway, I have honestly
definitely gained a better understanding of mobile technology as a whole, and I am overly ecstatic that I
got to experience this alone, because I learn better when I am alone. Throughout the course, I did not
change my learning pathway, or even had to second guess it. I am a people person, but in this particular
class I felt as if I would learn better if I worked alone so that I could experience everything, and all the
information that was being offered alone. I also did not want to have to rely on others, because some
people, but not all, do not like to meet deadlines in a timely manner.

3. Contributed or not?
Personally I feel like the multimedia activities overall helped me gain a better insight on many different
ways to utilize multimedia. The several different bookmarking cites, and also learning how to use the
different social networking sites definitely contributed to my learning, mainly because these are things
that never really did or paid attention to in the past. Now knowing how to use tags, bookmarks, and a
lot of other tools, are definitely things I will keep using in the future. The quest that helped me learn the
most was screen casting, and the iPads and tablet computers, because I found it very useful and
beneficial being that I am an visual learner.
Ja’Neisha Walker
4. Top Three Technologies:
• The first mobile technology that I explored for learning was screencasting. I was not really familiar with
this certain multimedia, but after exploring it, I can definitely see how this technology can help people’s
learning preferences. I feel like this accommodated my learning preference well. My learning
preferences are I learn better visually and by hearing things. This however, is a great mixture of both. I
can visualize things and hear them at the same time, so this was a win, win situation for me.
• The second mobile technology that I explored for learning is podcasting. I think that this technology is
very useful for students. Before taking this class, I have never heard of podcasts before, but overall it
seems like it is becoming more convenient for a larger crowd. This technology accommodated my
learning preferences which in this case are just hearing, because I learn good by hearing just as well as I
learn by visualizing things and podcasts consists of a lot of hearing to be done.
• The third technology that I have chosen to explore for learning is multimedia. This was an awesome
opportunity to get more familiar and learn multimedia. Over the years multimedia has become very
important and it has become a part of everyone’s lives in one aspect or another. There are a lot of forms
of multimedia, including: the TV, internet, the radio, etc. I feel like this quest has overall helped me find
a better purpose for multimedia, and it has accommodated my learning preferences tremendously. The
learning preferences that I used are visual and hearing. I was able to use the visual by seeing the
different multimedia, and I used the hearing by hearing all the different multimedia for example on the
different podcasts.

5. Synthesize Your Experience:
• Like I stated earlier above, the multimedia technology that has interested me the most has been
screen casting. This technology has been most interesting to me because I feel like I can actually see it
furthering my knowledge. I was definitely surprised that I enjoyed screen casting the most because I
never really paid it any attention until I started this class. Overall, there was not one single multimedia
technology that I found not useful, because every multimedia had a different purpose and they all
worked in their own way. A multimedia technology that I would like to further explore is again, screen
casting. I chose this because I feel like it really has a lot to offer and there is also a lot to learn from it as
well.
• The social technology that worked best for my learning preferences overall was screen casting. My
learning preferences are visual and hearing. Screen casts accommodated my visual learning preferences
because I was able to see everything clearly, and that is how I learn best. It accommodated my learning
preference of hearing because I can also hear in some screen casting as well and that was plus. Overall, I
would have to say screen casting was my favorite and I will definitely continue to use it.

6. How Will You Use What You Have Learned?
When this course ends this semester, I will try to discover some more interesting ways to learn. With
help from this class I was able to learn what my learning preferences were, and how I can accommodate
them as well. Overall, I would love to become a better hearing learner, and I would love to become a
better listener. I think these skills will help in any kind of professional setting, and even in a school
setting. The main strategies that I will continue to use is definitely screen casting, because I have grown
to love it. As I sit here and think really hard, there isn’t a technology that I can think of that I will try to
avoid, because like I said earlier, every multimedia is useful in its own way.
