Learning Preference
 At the beginning of the semester I learned that my learning
preference and I learned that I am fairly balanced in active
(1), visual (1), global (1), and then for intuitive I had a more
favorable learning preference with a score of 5. When I
started college i think that i might have been more of a
sequential learner but as time went on I think that I might
have adapted into a more intuitive learner. I like to think of
things in theories and try to think of different ways of doing
things. Since it is the end of class I have looked back at how
differently I see these learning preferences and I have come
to see that it really works better if you have a moderate
balance of these because it helps you gain a better grasp on
everything and gives you a different look into everything else
and how things can be done. I do think that learning about
your learning preferences can help you because for me I
never really thought about how I learned easier and what
things I had an easier time learning.

Learning Pathway
 At the beginning of the class I chose to be a
learning sage for the multimedia quests
because as I have said before I think that
somebody can never learn too much and I
am always curious about learning more and
more about things even if I feel like I know
about that certain topic. At the end of the
class I did not change my pathway because I
don’t think I had reached the limit of how
much I can learn from using multimedia to
    help with my learning preferences.

Activities
 I think all the quests for multimedia helped me gain a
deeper knowledge about how to use them to help with
everyday learning. With multimedia we use these things
everyday so it is pretty much natural for all of us to learn
using these things even if it is something that we aren’t
aware of. For our classes in college we have to use the
internet and other things to do our research, and even
things outside of school we learn from stuff like
billboards even if it is just learning about a product.
Even television can be educational in the sense that for
young children there are educational shows for them to
learn basic things like counting and the alphabet.

Exploration
 For the screencasts quests I don’t really
see them as really being helpful to my
learning style because it is more of a
    straightforward technique that doesn’t
really allow me to think outside the box,
but it does allow me to go at my own
pace if i need to review more on what
was being said or taught in the
screencast. But in that sense I do have a
little control at what I can and cannot do
because I am allowed to move at my
    own pace.

 For the Podcasts quests I think that this help
fits my intuitive learning preference because I
can choose which podcasts I want to listen
that will benefit my education. In another
sense though it also could not help me that
much in the way that I learn because since it
is a podcast and if I am listening to it there is
no dialogue being exchanged between the
person doing the podcast and the person
listening to it, and the way I like to learn is by
    interacting with other people exchanging
    ideas and theories.

 For the multimedia quest I think that this only
kind of benefits my learning preference. Since
multimedia covers a lot of different areas such as
television, billboards, and internet it can benefit
everybodies learning preference at least a little
bit. Since mostly everybody uses the internet
everyday to look up things even if they are
random we are still teaching ourselves about
something. I think that this benefits my learning
style because when i use the internet for
research I have control over what I want to look
at and use for my research and that it what I
    learn best by doing.

Synthesize
 As a whole there weren’t any specific quests that
surprised me, because each of them I was interested in
how much more I could learn about how they could help
me learn. I feel like all of these are beneficial in helping
people learn despite their learning preference. Since
the multimedia quests cover a lot of different things I
feel like everybody would be able to find something that
it beneficial to how they learn even if it is something
small. For the future there isn’t something specific that I
want to keep learning about as far as multimedia
because I am always using it and I will naturally
continue to learn more about it as I use it everyday.

 Christopher Heins
Synthesize Cont.
 To me all of these help me with my
    learning preference because I generally
have control over what I want to watch or
listen to, even though I wouldn’t be able
to talk about what I am learning with the
people making them I could possibly
have these talks with other people using
    other technologies which is preferential
    to me.

 Christopher Heins
Future Uses
 I will continue to use all of these multimedia
learning strategies after I finish this class. Even
after this class is done and I am out of school I
feel like I will continue to use all of these
strategies especially when it comes to learning
about a job. If I am trying to learn about a job it
would be easy to look things up on the internet
and if it is something specific that I would need to
learn I would be able to look up how-to videos or
screencasts on how to do it, and I would be able
to learn it at my own pace and be able to go back
and review it if I don’t understand it at first.

 Christopher Heins
Future Uses Cont.
 After this class I will continue to use all of these
for learning because I think they are all beneficial
for learning since we are in a time where
technology is very prominent and everybody
uses the internet to look up screencasts and
even podcasts. I would mainly use the internet
for non educational purposes after class because
there are many things on the internet that I could
do or look up just to relax and entertain myself.
There is nothing from these quests that I would
avoid because all of these are very useful in
    terms of being educational.
