Worked in Feroze1888 Industries at Hub Location which is a ring and open end
spinning unit, as Senior Manager (Utilities) from Feb. 2011 till Aug. 2013 and
fulfilled to supervise the activities of following departments:
1. Power House.
Mill is powered through self established power plant having:
a. 3 * 1,600 kW Caterpillar brand gas generators.
b. 1 * 635 kW Waukesha brand gas generator.
c. 1 * 1, 625 kW Wartsila brand diesel generator.
2. Electrical/Electronic Department.
Was responsible for the operation and maintenance of various machines of
different spinning departments, and distribution of electrical power.
3. Air conditioning Department.
Was responsible for the operation and maintenance of various humidification
plants for different departments and two numbers absorption chillers for open end
department, powered through waste heat recovery from power house.

1. Mill was powered initially through utility connection for 1800 KW. In 1995
a complete power plant using 3 * 635 KW Waukesha brand gas generators,
was designed erected and started operation hence to give the self generated
power. As per extensions in the mill and hence increment in load
requirements, power plant’s generating capacity has increased up to 8,065
kW. Presently 8 numbers of latest gas generators are under operation i.e.
1. 5 * 1053 KW Jenbacherbrand gas generator
2. 1 * 1000 KW Waukesha brand gas generator
3. 2 * 900 KW Waukesha brand gas generator

3. 2. Design, erection and operation of different systems of electrical power
distribution as per load requirements at different locations of the mill.
3. Mill started its operations in 1992 with 42 numbers of spinning frames (i.e.
20200 spindles) from 1992 to 2004, different extensions were carried out
hence increasing the number of spinning frames up to 72 (i.e. 34,600
spindles). These extensions included related civil works for new buildings,
electrical distribution, and installation of machinery without disturbing
continuous operation of the existing plant.
4. In 2004 a complete new unit established for 20 spinning frames (i.e. 9924
Spindles making total spindles as 44,524) for which organization entrusted
all engineering responsibilities including civil works.
5. In 2006 all five naturally aspirated Waukesha brand gas generator were
replaced with five numbers latest turbo charged Jenbacher brand JGS 320
gas generators. All related works were supervised including design, erection
and operation of LT panels for old distribution system in new setup, while
mill remained under operation using rental and utility power.
