This document describes the process of creating an advertisement for the play "Much Ado About Nothing." The designer started by combining colored shapes to create a design. They experimented with different color palettes before deciding on pinks and purples, as courting is a key theme in the play. Images were then placed and adjusted to fit the colored boxes, and fonts from 1001fonts.com were used. After moving images around, the final design was achieved. Text was added at the bottom with character information and performance dates, completing the advertisement.

2. When creating my advert for ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ I started off by combining
different coloured shapes to create what is shown above. I already had an idea of
what I wanted to design. However, I did not know what colours I wanted to use so I
played around with the colour palette and finally decided and pinks and purples as a
key theme in the play is courting.

3. I then placed images that I had to cut out and change the colours of to suit whatever colour
box that they were going to fit into. Again I used 1001fonts.com for the fonts used on my
advert. After a few movements of images this is where I decided everything looked how I
wanted it to.

4. The final thing that I had to do for my advert was to add the writing at the bottom
regarding who was playing which character and the date that the play was being
performed. This is my final design for my advert.
