2. The Life Aquatic’s release date in the USA was December, however the film
was not released in the UK until two months later in February 2005. The film
managed to make $113,085 on their opening weekend of the film being
released. Life Aquatic’s budget was $50,000,000 and with the film featuring
popular actors such as Bill Murray and Owen Wilson it made it look
entertaining and of course more appealing due to people knowing both actors
specialise in comedy.
OVERVIEW

3. When Steve Zissou’s partner is mysteriously killed by the possibly non existent
‘Jaguar Shark’ Zissou and his team set off on an expedition they will never
forget to find the creature that killed his beloved partner. Joining his crew is
his estranged wife, who is a journalist and a co-piolet who could quite possibly
be his son. The crew are in for an entertaining and thrilling adventure.
THE STORYLINE

4. In the film there is a chase scene in which the crew are approaching a hotel.
My task was to take the stills from the film an put them in an order in which I
thought they would make a similar chase scene, even if I waned to end the
scene totally different to how it really ends. I found this task quite challenging
at first as of course I had not seen the film. However, once I got into the
swing of things and has analysed the stills I began to find it easier to put them
in some sort of order. Whilst watching the clip from the film after I had
completed the task I found that I had completed a very similar scene to what
the film actually was.
