This document provides information from a public meeting held on April 23, 2016 to discuss the Cleveland Public Library's (CPL) Community Vision Plan. The meeting agenda included an overview of the CPL Strategic Plan and Community Vision planning process, as well as work stations where attendees could provide input. The document outlines the scope of the Community Vision Plan, which aims to determine appropriate library services for each branch by 2019 through community engagement. The Worcester Library and History Centre: a Shared Vision, a Single Community

The Worcester Library & History Centre (WLHC) is, we believe, a globally unique project. It will bring together five information based services with the aim of providing the people of Worcester and its surrounding region with an integrated facility that will combine the main library of the University of Worcester, the Worcester Central Public Library, The Worcestershire County Record Office, the Worcestershire County Archaeology Service and the Worcester City Customer Service Centre (one-stop-shop for inquiries about local government services).
Apart from the range of services involved, other significant elements of the project include: the high degree of integration; its desire to inspire users through high quality architecture to explore services they have not used before; and its stringent environmental targets. The physical location of the building will allow the design to emphasize links between the University and the City acting as a bridge between the two, reflecting one of the projects core concepts; that all the present and potential users of these services are not one dimensional entities but rather multi-faceted individuals.
By June 2009 the project will be into the build period with a target of the first users walking through the doors in 2011. This paper will describe the design journey undertaken by the project team, illustrating how they & the wider staffs of the five services have, and are, working together to meet the many challenges presented by this exciting vision, and some of the solutions proposed in the final design.

The Charrette was a partnership between the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative and the Jefferson Educational Society, with generous support from the Erie Community Foundation; the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority; NAIOP; and the Mastriana Endowment.

The slide presentation was created by graduate students from Kent State University's Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative for the Port of Conneaut and City of Conneaut, Ohio. Developed with stakeholder input over the course of a fast-paced, three day weekend, the preliminary design recommendations provide an overall vision for Conneaut's Lakefront, Downtown, Route 7 Corridor, and Regional Connections. The initial concepts shown in the presentation will require further public feedback and careful design development before specific implementation plans can be made, but serve as an important step towards realizing Conneaut's future as a thriving waterfront community. • Streetscape enhancements to improve neighborhood character
surrounding branch buildings
• Creative ideas for bridging the digital divide

33. The Mount Pleasant Branch was housed in three previous locations: 3335 East 118th St, as
a station in 1923, 13512 Kinsman Rd. in 1928, and 13700 Kinsman Rd in 1930 before finding
its current home. Originally a bank, the building was remodeled in 1937 for the Library giv-
ing residents access to a 10,300 square foot facility. A one story club room was added to
the rear of the building in 1949. The branch was remodeled again in 1981.

39. East 131st Street Branch is unique due to its many community partnerships: The Boys and
Girls Club of America, Chapleside Adult Day-care Center, and Kidz Health 2020. One of the
many CPL branches designed by local architecture firm Walker & Weeks, the 14,100-square-
foot building was first opened in 1929 and was renovated in 1979. This branch is located in
Cleveland’s Corlett neighborhood.
